Soft, Dishes Quickly, Poor Stone

This is a pretty poor stone. Dishes incredibly quickly- you can literally see how scooped it is after just a couple knives. Chips really east- not worth the money.

the stone works fine.

Stone came on time and damage free. Comes with a rubber base. One gripe, the emblem on the face of one side of the stone needs to be ground off as it will catch and does not come off with normal sharpening. I just flipped the stone over and used the other side. It seems that this stone will not last very long. It is a very soft stone. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to stone sharpening, but I would pay the extra money for a higher quality stone next time. But for the money and my experience level, the stone works fine.

Thin and soft

The actual dimensions of the stone itself are 7.0" x 2.4" x 0.6" (not 7" x 2.4" x 1.1") so it is thin and soft and will wear out quickly.
