Measure square opening!!

I had 3 square piles I wanted to use this on. Glad I ordered one to make sure it’d work, cuz it didn’t! Apparently it doesn’t fit standard square grooming arms.

Didn’t quite fit

This was too small for the post where it won’t slide. I was able to use a mallet and push it on, but it’s stuck on the bottom, making the arm at the tallest position.

I am 100 % pleased!!

I thought I wanted a new grooming arm but all I really needed was this new clamp. This makes it so easy to move clamp from one side of table to the other.

Great Replacement

I purchased this to replace the original plastic one that broke when my dog decided she was done. This one is sturdy and a perfect fit.

Fortunately my son in law had some square tubing and ...

Much tougher than the plastic one that came with my grooming table. My male Irish Setter took a leap and he and the table ended up in a pile and a guilty look on his face! The clamp broke on impact with the cement floor, thankfully my boy was unharmed. Warning, my arm was 1" square tubing and this fits a 3/4". Fortunately my son in law had some square tubing and welded me a new arm with rings for the "noose". Pretty tough rig now! My Irish has learned to wait till the noose is fully off before escaping!

The Thing To Prevent Destroying Your Butcher Block

With no other choice of surfaces the right height for the task of grooming 3 Bichons, I realized I'd have to use the center island/butcher block in my kitchen. But, who wants a big square hole in their butcher block? So, leave it to Amazon to have the Thing To Prevent Destroying Your Butcher Block item for a great price. It tightens so,well, that when necessary, while grooming a dryer-avoidant puppy, the clamp can be twisted and it still holds tight to the block - an important feature when one hand is full of dryer and the other full of puppy!
