Not my favorite but they do work decently.

These do help with shoes that have a thin support, but they don't really help with pain relief.

Looks odd after trimming

After trimming to fit my size 6 shoes, these looked odd. I was not able to trim enough along the sides, around the arch. The arch is tougher and impossible to trim, so these were not usable for me. Too wide to fit inside my shoes and allow for comfort. Waste of money and time.

Feel supportive, do not seem to relieve pain

These insoles fit my shoes well, and I liked the extra arch support. The heel cups are a little high, and I didn’t like that; it caused my feet to inch forward in my shoes, making the toes uncomfortably snug. When I walk, I under-pronate (supinate) and the insoles don’t seem to influence that one way or the other. The supports are very firm, much more so than the OEM insoles they replaced in my Nikes. Profoot claims the insoles relieve knee, leg, and back pain; I have knee and back pain and did not notice that there was much, if any, effect on that.

I got these for my wife who is on her feet all day and has severe foot pain. Unfortunately they really didn't help much with it. There was some relief, but they just weren't thick enough to fully do the job. They were easy to trim to size, and fit in here shoes well though. And the quality seems to be nice. If you have severe pain, and are a smaller to average sized person these may be just what you need, but larger folks may want to keep looking. They are being marketed as plus sized, but I suspect their efficacy may depend on how big you are, and how severe your problem it. I would put them in the average severity for a bigger person category.

Not the most comfy...

I received the Profoot Plus Size Extra Support Insole for Women in exchange for this review. I am one for using things as long as possible. My favorite sneakers still had a good sole, but the insoles were bad. I tried these as a way to extend the usefulness of my sneakers. Well...they are better than the old ones were at that time, but they are not what I wold call great. The toe area is comfy..but the arch is too tall and firm for my feet. (Those with higher arches would be well served, though) I also found the heel cup to be firmer than I like.

Works well

Nice addition to shoes if you are on your feet a lot or just need some extra padding. Nice to find some that accommodate larger feet. Easy to cut to size, won't break the bank.

They really do have extra support

These insoles are very firm. The heel especially is firm. They were very easy to cut down to fit inside my shoes. But do NOT go by the sizes inscribed on the trim lines. Match them up with the insoles out of the shoes that you want to replace. These insoles said they were for women, but the sizes on the trim lines did not match at all with US women sizes of shoes. They fit in my shoes very well once I got them cut down to size. I even exercise on the elliptical with these insoles in my tennis shoes and I like the way that they feel. I would recommend.
