Stronger color than expected.

This is a good product for the money spent, but tends to look bolder on my lips than anticipated. Also dries them out a bit as do all long wear lip colors.

Worth the risk!

$22 for lipstick to me is insane but after using my friends I fell in LOVE with it and had to get one! Longevity: is fantastic! I can eat, drink, party, etc and it doesn’t fade or crack. Smudge-proof: for the most part. If you’re drinking something and kiss someone it does transfer a little bit but only after it gets wet. I have a bigger bottom lip and lipstick ALWAYS gets on my chin from smiling and talking but this does not. Moisturizing: I wouldn’t say that it’s moisturizing. Personally, I have to moisturize before and after because once I wear it for hours on end my lips are dry afterwards. In the photos, one is a selfie in yellow light, the second is of me and my bf (both wearing the same shade; palermo) in a car to give you a better sense of color. I have found that you can add more layers to get a darker shade as well.

Nice and comfortable feeling!

The smudge-proof works better with lighter colors. The darkers ones did smudge for me, on the bottom lip. Did not dry my lips and feels very light. Not sticky at all :) And the color did last for a very long time. Most of the time I have to take the color off with make up remover.

It definitely stays in place

I really like this product. I used up the whole tube now so I feel like I can really comment on it. I don't think it lasts all day. At best, you've got eight hours before it starts crumbling away. As long as you're careful with water and food, you should be fine but it does come off with eating and drinking. It has a pleasant smell to it and you don't need much when applying. It mattes down very quickly, which I also like, and is very forgiving when you mess up or want to get it off. I'd recommend!

Very matte

This is a great color. I find applying with a wand to be a bit tricky to get the lines just right, so I don't love the applicator. It's very very matte and not at all moisturizing -- and applying anything like chapstick to moisturize your lips will dissolve the color. Once applied, make sure you wait until it's totally dry so you don't smudge it-- but after that, it's bomb-proof. I can put it on in the morning before work and when I get home after dinner that night, it will still be there! Very long lasting and great if you like the dry/matte finish.

Warning: The color Palermo is MUCH darker that the tube looks

I ordered the color Palermo and still do not understand how it looks so much lighter in the tube than on your face. The tube just the same or lighter than 3 other brands I have but it is a deep almost burgundy color. The listing has woman wearing the colors, and I would highly recommend using those as the guide to what color to buy. Beautiful coverage when applied, but when it moves it gets everywhere! I would recommend this if you wear matte lipstick with no gloss or moisturizer over it. But if you like to add a clear gloss over your color, this can get all over your face.
