More Cream/Neutral than Tan

I’ve read reviews that say Steve Madden runs small, but for these shoes at least, they are true to size. I am normally a size 5.5, but ordered size 6. They are quite roomy around the foot, which is nice for my more wider metatarsal section of my feet, but the sole is about half an inch too long. Thankfully the shoes have an adjustable buckle, but they do look slightly too big when wearing them, especially as the look is clunkier already. I was also hoping for that darker tan color as pictured, but they are much more cream/neutral in person. Not a bad color, just not what I was expecting. Beware of that Steve Madden stitched logo on the sole though. The edges of it can rub your feet soles and cause discomfort. I tend to put foam stickers on top to avoid my feet getting rubbed raw. Other than that, they are quite comfortable. The suede leather makes the bands more soft and shapeable to your feet, and I can see myself lasting a whole day in them.

Usually wear a 7.5/8 and the 8 was a little tight still. Very cute shoe overall

Super cute but run small

These are so cute, look exactly like pictured. Heal is a rubber sole and the shoes are nice and chunky so they’re easy to walk in. They do run small so keep that in mind. I’m normally a 6.5, sometimes a 7. I ordered a 6.5 because there was no size 7 available, but my heel was hanging off the edge. Ended up getting a 7.5 and was worried they’d be too big but they fit perfect.

Well, I would have liked to own these, but the fit is way off. Originally, I bought my standard size 7 - I know SM can run small, but I own several pairs of SM shoes from boots to heels to sandals to sneakers and all fit in size 7. Well, they came, were very comfy, but my whole dang big toe hung off the end. I hoped to exchange for a 7.5, but they were out of stock, so decided to take my chances with an 8 b/c they were truly so dang small. The 8s came; I took one out of the box. The length was good; however the upper was now a bit loose. I figured it would be ok - although the 7.5 would probably have fit better, I could make these work. However, when I took the other shoe out of the box, that one was a size 9 - I'd been shipped 2 different shoes! I figure at this point, they're not meant to be. If the 7.5 comes back in stock, maybe I'll try again. They are very cute and the leather is very soft. If you have narrow feet, be aware - size up for the length but the upper will be a touch loose.

Strap Issue!

These are amazing! Fit perfect! Could wear these all hours it seems and the toe area fit like a glove… BUT the strap! … I’m usually a size 8, got the size 8.5 per other review recommendations- AND here we are, but the strap doesn’t even make it into the buckle! And if I pull and stretch it, the buckle rubs right on the ankle bone - SO SO Disappointing!

Comfortable and stylish!

These shoes are great! I am normally a 7.5 but I ordered an 8 thinking the smaller size would be too tight, and the larger size is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
