Love how it maintains the heat. Just have to make sure you preheat it well enough. A little larger than I expected but love it

This works just as well as our other Stanley/Aladdin bottles

I have used these bottles for decades. This one seems to be particularly good. Tea brewed in it one morning is still hot the next evening (if I haven't had much from it). If I fill it full of ice, it stays quite cold for a couple of days. The main reason I ordered this one is the wonderfully "loud" orange color, which is a great match for my bright orange car!! Love it! Now, if I can only find a matching mug!

bigger than expected

it's a gift for Christmas so I can't review the durability and if it's leak proof yet but so far it's larger than expected. if the box wasn't wet I'd wrap it in it's original packaging but otherwise will make another review when it's used.

Keeps coffee hot.

I have several of the older thermoses and they have lost their vacuum from the abuse on construction sites so I needed a new one. This one keeps my coffee hot, like it just came from the coffee maker, for about 4 hours then plenty hot enough at the end of an eight hour day for drinking in upper 20 degree weather.

Very durable, great color, holds heat very well (24-hours)

Upgrading some older 'thermos' products I have which are wide mouthed, stainless, but only retain hot beverages for about 6-hours. The Stanley Legendary Classic Bottle I ordered (1.4 liters) arrived in a vertical carboard box, well packed, no damages, ahead of schedule. It was all trackable on-line as well. The color is great (easy to see, hunting 'blaze-orange'), the paint is thick and well done. Great color as it's hard to loose. There are other color options as well. I found the price to be very reasonable as it's very well made. The thermos itself is made of very, very thick metal, well, made, strong handles. As it's a larger 1.4 liter unit the cup on top at first appears small but actually is a good size. It would be great if they offered a double-cup option - it's hold enough for 1 to 4 people. Washing is pretty easy, it does not seem to retain the taste/odour of the tea, water or coffee I place into it (I just rinse it out). It has a smaller neck so it is harder to use a brush inside as compared to the wide mouth bottles - but NOT impossible. Usually just rinsing it out is good enough (especially with tea). You can twist the inner-plug a few turns to let out liquid, then twist the other way to re-seal. I usually put a folded paper towel in the cup part to catch any drops after using. That said, the thermos itself does NOT leak, even when stored horizontal over longer periods of time. There is a bit of heat loss at the top neck part where the cup goes on. If I pre-heat the unit with boiling water my tea or coffee stays hot for over 24-hours which is great and warm after 36-hours. I now put it into a backpack with additional insulation so it lasts even longer. While the ad does state 40-hours (hot) I would say realistically it's 24-hours - which is still great. I have not used it for cold liquids or ice yet. Great for saving energy, I heat water once and put it into the thermos to make tea* or coffee during the day. * Speaking of tea, I did order Twinings Earl Grey Tea from Amazon, really good stuff! Works well for 'thermos-cooking' - a super energy efficient way to cook many dishes. You can find recipes for this on-line. If using it for work or outdoor activities keep in mind if you pre-heat it and then put in boiling liquid - be careful during your lunch break - as it will still be boiling hot - don't burn yourself! Overall considering the great quality, design and heat retention it's an excellent value.

HOKEY SMOKES ITS GOOD

10/10 I've used this dozens of times since I bought it. Holds about 10cups of Coffee. Coffee stays hot for a long time. 36-40hrs after filling coffee is still warm. I'm impressed.
