An Excellent Product

What can you say about a squeege - start with hard to find in stores and if you find one it will probably be plastic and smaller than 12" wide. This product is exactly as advertised. Fits your hand perfectly and does an excellent job in the shower where it proudly hangs. One swipe down the shower door (3 times down for the width of the door) and you have a perfectly clean water free surface. Since my last squeege died after about 3 years. (got my money's worth out of that one)I've been wiping down the shower door with a towel. Well, if you look at the many washings of towels from that little task - water, soap, dryer time, I'm back to saving both time and money. If this one goes the distance as my last one did - and it looks like it should, I'll be very very happy with it. By the way it looks very nice and has a substantial feel in your hand - I like that (my old one was light weight plastic). This one is a little pricey for a squeege but amortized over the next 3 or 4 years, what's it cost per day - about a cent and a half? Well worth it! A little tip that will help it last longer and work better. When you've finished using it, put it under running water and just with your fingers go down both sides of the length of the plastic blade at the same time (with your thumb and forefinger together) and you'll remove any residual "material" it picked up while it was doing it's job. Then use a cheap tissue and wipe the blade dry. Believe me, that will prolong the life of this critter and it will always do a perfect clean when you next use it.

Uneven wiping

This is ok. It looks nicer than the white plastic kind while it hangs on our glass shower door but the wiping is uneven, even if you press pretty hard.

12” width is perfect.

I use the squeegee to wipe down the shower. It’s still a bit stiff but I expect it will soften up a bit in time.

The Bomb-diggity

I've had other squeegees before - this one rocks. The water squeegee side is silicone I think, it is tight to the glass and doesn't let any water through when wiping. The handles is nice and sturdy, perfect size. I like that it has the loop on the end and comes with a suction cup with a hook, hangs perfectly in our shower. Silly to get all happy about a squeegee but this thing really is amazing. I use my old one (purchased at a cheap box store) for the floor, and use this nicer one for the glass.

Worried at first, Happy now

I'm no squeegee expert, never used a professional one, so don't know how this compares. I'm sure those are better if you want completely dry glass when your done. That being said, at first I thought the "rubber" was too stiff, and it left some streaks the first time I tested it. After that first trial, I hung it in the shower for the next morning. I don't know if the heat/humidity of the shower softened the "rubber" or not, but with little effort, it works as I'd expect, only missing spots if I don't keep even pressure on the handle. I bought this one for the looks, and it didn't dissapoint there, very nice aged bronze color. Also, I haven't had the problem of the rubber sliding as others have mentioned. I'd buy this again as long as it holds up for a year or more.

Product is mis-numbered!!

I ordered the Stainless Steel squeegee which is very good. My current (identical) one has lasted many years. IF you order this one, you will get a clear plastic squeegee. The labels on this item are wrong. The clear plastic squeegee's label clearly says "Stainless Steel" I had to return two of them to Amazon. I've tried explaining the error to Amazon but they don't have time to listen.

Beautiful but did require a little work to straighten the rubber

Blade came with a dent or wave to it. I used it a couple of times and was able to "massage it to straighten it with 2 to 3 showers and now works great. The first swipe down is usually has a loud screeching sound. I've learned that if you wet the rubber first, it reduces the sound greatly. With the larger than expected rubber blade, you must overlap a lot so you need to make sure the blade stays wet to avoid the noise . The handle is metal and appears well made. I had a hard time finding the oil rubbed bronze that matches my new decor and this one definitely looks good.

Nice.

It just annoys me that I have to do this after every shower now. This at least makes it slightly less time consuming as its 2x the length of the one I had before. It's nice looking I suppose though I can't say I care about how it looks as it sits in my shower and I'm the only one who sees it.. for also maybe 5-10 minutes a day. Oh.. my one complaint for this thing I guess is the suction cup thing that holds it up.. Yeah, doesn't really work very well. Fell off the wall 3 times in 3 days... Put the one that came with my other one back on and it hasn't fallen in months.

Color wears off over short time

Great squeegee in terms of how well it work, but the hook suction is very poor unless on glass, and worst of all the color (which is specifically why I bought it) has started to chip off in two places after only two months use!!
