For a smaller presentation

This is a topwater that comes with me in every tackle box when topwater is a consideration. It walks the dog fairly easy, spits a decent amount of water for it's size, and isn't too light to cast well. The small size affects it's ability to POP somewhat, but also gives an opportunity for a more subtle presentation when bass are being wary. The first fish I caught using this lure was a 2 lbs bass using a Yoyito hand reel from shore.. if I can do that, you can do it with a rod.

Good little popping frog

Like the bait although they are a little small. The hooks set pretty low to the body making it very weedless but the hook up ratio is a little low because of this. I bent mine up a bit and it helped but they snagg a little easier now. Overall a good little popping frog.

Great lure, tons of confidence throwing it

Great action and you can walk it pretty good. One of my favorite frogs in my box, it’ll always catch me something. I did bend the hooks slightly out to increase my hookup ratio. (My Fishing YouTube is : PDunc)

Horrible hook up ratio

I gave this 2 stars because it is made of quality materials. One big problem is that the way the hooks are situated on this lure it will never hook a fish. I am returning this thing. For this price point there are plenty of lures which are similar, and will result in far less aggravation on the water, in other words, actually catch fish instead of resulting in numerous missed hook ups.
