My dogs first and favorite toy

The media could not be loaded. Kodi loves his chicken! He has several around the house - most of which he's ripped the guts out of. But he doesn't care. He loved to play tug or catch with them and will find a chicken anywhere in the house - all you have to do is ask for it by name. We keep a chicken or two tucked away for supervised play only as we would like to have at least one with its head intact. Now that he knows this toy by name, I guess we'll have to keep buying them! Got any case discounts?

The chicken lives! So far my dogs have not destroyed it, they both love it.

Both of my dogs love floppy toys so this was perfect for them. I have a mini schnauzer and a giant schnauzer. I was a little hesitant to buy this due to some reviews stating their dogs tore it apart within minutes. So far it's held up well with my dogs, the mini is way more destructive than the giant and he has not wanted to give this toy up since we got it but the squeaker in the head still works, all limbs are still attached to the chicken and no tears anywhere on it. The outer material is kind of soft so it gets slobbery real quick, I've even tossed it in the washer and it came out fine (I did air dry it though, I was worried about the plastic in the squeaker melting if I used the dryer). So far this is a win, my dogs love it. When the day comes that they finally lay this chicken to rest then I will update the review to state how long it lived. Chicken birthdate 5/20/2016 (the day my dogs got the chicken). Update: 8/12/16 - Chicken is done for. It lost both its legs about a month ago and they still played with it but today I found it with the head partially off and the squeaker across the room. Still 5 stars, they played hard with it constantly for 3 months and I'll be ordering another one for them.

The rooster still lives!

This came with package deal when I purchased the squirrel tree puzzle. I had purchase a skineez type of toy before at the local pet mart, it last thirty seconds. I have a one hundred pound Sylvan Terrier mix with jowls as hard as a softball. Kong toys well, lets say slows him down as destructo-dog. My dog is four. I gave it to him in January after offering it to my brother, he declined for the same reasons. The head squeaks and he does the death shake. Then proudly returns to me, with its head in his jaws as the roosters body dangles from a quick glance. It would look like a fresh kill. As a reminder to pet owners, I do supervise my dog and will take a toy away if he dose try to destroy. The only other plush toy to recommend as a toy similar to survival rate that we also own. Would be the the Kylen plush Gator. The only draw back to that toy is that it has four pill bottle squeaker in it. Which, when walking into the bedroom with the lights off and you happen to step on. Will make you fill your jammies. I apologize for that, it is always funny when it doesn't happen to you.

2nd Skinneeez toy for my dog.

This is the second Skinneeez for my dog, I have a 1 year old schnauzer and he loves them. Its a great toy, love the squeaker in it, it has lasted quite a bit and its got a unique squeak noise that definitely catches the attention of my dog. We've had this toy for a couple of weeks now and the sqeaker still lasts! Thats pretty strong for this long of a squeaker. I do like the stufflingless concept. Although I've heard and I do kinda worry that he may swallow it whole, granted he is a 20lb schnauzer and its about the same length as him. I still kinda worry. He normally tears out the stuffing within a week or so out of most other toys. He already ripped off the legs and the little parts of the head. Its not bad of a toy at all, not sure if I will buy more, but it is pretty good product. Kong products tend to be better, and we have a lot more of them for our dog. The difference is they are stuff and last longer, I think.

My Jack Russell Terriers go through these like there's no tomorrow

My Jack Russell Terriers go through these like there's no tomorrow. It's hard not to step on "chicken feet", "de-billings", and segmented wings in most any room in the house. When shaken, they fight back, the "Chickiezilla"'s legs flopping about slapping them in the head. Why five stars? There's no razor-sharp metal diaphragm in the "squeeker", it's foam, a baggie, and a short plastic tube; and believe me, I find the remains of them frequently. There's no stuffing to block bowels or even to create a gawdawful mess in the living room, bedrooms, yard, bathroom, on top of the 'fridge (!), ... That makes mom happy. Puppies? It's Christmas Morning every time another shipment of Skinneeez arrives at the door - I suspect they'd disembowel the UPS guy if I let 'em! They'd probably get me if I rated these any less than five stars: I'm not certain... but let's not find out. I spend a good $40/mo on the various Skinneez, and this is one of their favorites.

Great dog toys!

I use to buy only "Kong" toys for my Grand Dog Charlie. I like the bright colors, the size and the fact that they are nice sturdy dog toys. A few months back, having gone through most of the normal toys I buy for her, I decided to get something different. I bought her an Ethical Pet Skinneeez toy, and she went nuts for it! I have to admit, I didn't much like the looks of these toys, but I decided to buy one to try. Charlie loves it. She plays with it like she would a normal toy, but she also takes it outside, buries it, digs for it, and then retrieves it. It seems to stimulate her normal dog instincts. So far she has the Chicken, the Rabbit and the Wild Geese. Each new one becomes "her favorite toy". The other nice thing about these toys is that they seem to to be quite sturdy. She does not easily destroy these.
