Attractive & Durable Holder

I ordered this to replace my previous paper towel holder and I really love it. Firstly, the construction is very nice - has a nice weight to it but it is not heavy. Secondly, the base is extremely good - it slides nice and easy without scatching and is a bit heavier so when you go to remove some paper towels it doesn't topple over. Thirdly, it is really very pretty on the counter top and matches quite nicely with my brushed bronze leaf theme in my kitchen as it has a nice shine, but it is not metal but more wood I believe with shiny metallic paint on it? Either way I just love the finish. Am very happy with this purchase.

This is pretty and blends in well with the brown granite of my counter top. The paper towels pull off easily, It is a bit of a hassle to change the towel roll since you have to take the entire top knob off to do so. But, I like the look well enough to put up with that small inconvenience.

The description does not fit the item. It is a paper towel holder. I love it. I have the matching cup holder and utensil basket. They look great in my kitchen.

Nice Looking with a Heavy Base

It looks great, BUT it would benefit greatly from some type of ratchet system on the center post to keep the paper roll from spinning out of control when you tug a towel off with one hand. Have to use two hands - one to hold the roll while you tear a sheet off.

Not so good

Packaged in a box that was too small - the leaf tip was sticking out of a hole in the box. Don't know how it wasn't scratched/broken. Got it out of the box and it was totally crooked - decided it would be more hassle to return it than to try to fix it - so I bent it back to (mostly) straight - but I could have broke it and then I would have eaten it. Cost way to much for the poor quality. The base is stable and has a protective cover for our new counter tops. Wouldn't buy another of their products though.
