Excellent product but not new as advertised

These loppers work extremely well. They are very well designed and engineered. The only thing is that I ordered and paid for a new item and this one came obviously quite used, with the rubber handles having ground-in dirt and abrasions. Didn't know how to resolve that. But the tool is definitely doing the job. These are the best I have ever had.

Like a hot knife through butter

My Mrs does a lot of gardening, and gets through loppers like I get through underwear (about 2 a year). I decided I'd splash out and get her some fancy ones. These bad boys are like the Rolls Royce of loppers. The action was smoother than a babies bum, and in testing them, I was able to cut through 2-3" of Willow tree branches like they were made of cheese. Be warned though, these will have fingers off, and have someone's eye out, so use them wisely. With great power comes great responsibility. And smaller trees.

Good but maybe not best

Normally I would say these are superb loppers, but I also bought some "Spear & Jackson Razorsharp Advanced 26inch Anvil Lopper 8160RS/09" at the same time. Read my review of those (so I dont have to type it in twice) Cutting power, the advanced loppers win Speed of cutting, these probably win. Overall, I'd buy the advanced over these but obviously your needs might be different

Very sharp and easy to use

Excellent tree Loppers ,very sharp ,cuts branches easily,I would estimate 50mm diameter absolute maximum capability but they are straining at that and would advise not cutting above 35 to 40 mm if you wish them to last , very well made and good value for money , easy to use

Good product

Just completed a significant amount of pruning to large shrubs. I am very impressed with the performance of these pruners which are standing up to the hard work perfectly.

Grips branches and razor sharp

Bought a cheaper different make version which didn’t grip the branches when cutting, returned and bought these which are excellent, just keep an eye on the screw bolt on anvil mine managed to unscrew itself and almost lost it, recommended
