UPDATE: 12/31/15: I am updating my review to 5 stars! J. of ZogoSportz you just made my day, finally received the replacement unit. Thank you very much. UPDATE: 12/28/15: I am updating my review to 4 stars! The stars is actually for ZogoSportz for great customer service! They said they will replace the defective product. I will update my review soon especially when I receive the replacement and try it again. UPDATE: 12-2015, The automatic shut off stopped working, in the morning, I was wondering why it is still on and checked, no water and the tiny round thing in the bottom turned the middle circle part in the bottom to light-brownish color. I cleaned it and it will not work anymore. From 4 stars to 1. I was researching about the ceramic disc in the middle and I learned that it is the part that usually fails through time, mine did pre-maturely. Other diffuser's actually sells ceramic disc replacements. Really confusing instructions! Thanks for one of the comments and YouTube videos for clarifying on how to use it. If you look at "06 Operation" (For first owner, that is the most important!). Zoomed drawing of the front buttons of the unit and LED's. It is labeled in the bottom of the buttons, bottom of the Left button-"Press power", bottom of middle button-"Press timer", bottom of right button-"Press intermittent". So, first instinct, press power, you press the Left button the LED lit up (you would think it is on but no mist). Your second instinct, press all other buttons. After being so frustrated thinking, you got a bad unit and you go to Amazon and check how you can return it. But good thing I tried to read the Amazon review comments, Luckily, one person out of 199 mentioned to press the right button for power. Press it ones, no light to indicate that it is on but it is. press it again and INT LED will turn on. One more press and will turn it off. Looking back, I should have looked closely at the button symbols (it has the universal power on symbol). I usually don't look at the instructions but unfortunately I did. Minus one star for the confusing manual and not having an ON LED light. Another star because the fragrance oil only last a short while even though the mist is still going. I have been using Lampe Berger (I have 2) and the fragrance is strong and consistent for 10-12 hours. You light the catalytic rock wick for 2 minutes, blow it out and you will have a strong scent for hours and no need for electricity. I make my own Lampe Berger oil to save but I thought I can save even more by using only 6 drops of oil on water for hours of oil scent as most of the reviews, instead of 1 teaspoon used on LB. I saw a lot of reviews for oil diffusers on water and like to try it. I will continue to use it hoping to see if I can do what every reviews mentioned (even for 6 hrs, scent not mist) but so far, I can only attain a comparable consistent scent if I continually add essential oil thru out the day. OR maybe everybody is using it until they fall asleep. OR maybe they don't have anything to compare it to. I will update my review as I continue to use it. Right now 3 stars and it's an OK rating. I saw some comment made by the seller but I wonder if they will do something about the instructions. I read a few reviews and most people was having a hard time with the instructions. Mostly the same as my first reaction on it. UPDATE: 0/4/15 I raised my review to 4 stars. The reason is because I've been trying different scents from different manufacturer and experimenting on its usage. There's some scent that last longer than the other and I don't want to fault the unit because of that. Also, I could remove the very top to add a few drops if it needed a boost. It is still less oil than what I use for Lampe Berger. If you like a lot of mist, you need to use hot water (not boiling though). Also, the cleaning part: the only important part that really needs cleaning is the round part in the mid-bottom of the basin. Just a quick brush with water and maybe around the basin just to remove old oil sticking to it. Then leave it upside down to dry.
