Neat clock !

This clock is the greatest. I've had other atomic clocks and all of them have had trouble picking up the WWVB signal from Boulder, CO because I live only about 90 miles from the east coast. But not this clock. I couldn't believe it, but when I first set up this clock and put a battery in it, it was about 12:00 noon here in the east. And I figured it would never pick up WWVB at that time of day. But it did! And within a few minutes the thing was off and running with the perfect time. Has a large, very readable dial and nice, loud alarm. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have an always-on light, so you can't see it at night without pressing the "light" button on top. Also, the alarm on/off switch is in an awkward position on the back. Forgot one other thing. The clock I received is a Ken-Tech, not Sonnet. UPDATE: The clock failed after less than a month. So much for my "neat clock". Turned out to be a piece of typical Chinese junk.

Two "different" but "the same" clocks.

There are at least two different production runs of ths hard-to-find alarm clock out there. I have purchased five of these clocks over the last three years from three different sources. The ones that say "Sonnet" on the dial face will not receive the 60 kHz time signal from Boulder, CO here in central Florida. The ones that say "Quartz Alarm Radio Controlled" (the earlier run) receive the WWVB time signal with no problems. The "Sonnet" clocks are a later run.

Don't Buy This Clock

It seemed like a good idea, but this clock is a piece of junk. It goes through the motions, as described in the meager instructions, but it never does set itself to the correct time. I gave it multiple chances with resets and placing it next to other radio controlled clocks that I have, and although it did set itself, it was never even close to correct, even after several days. I have several "atomic clocks", including one analog one, in my basement, no less, which all work very well. Not this one.

Finally an alarm clock that wakes me up & looks great

Being a really heavy sleeper, I sleep through practically everything. Came across this clock, decided to give it a chance, and I love it! OMG it is loud!!! But, it is exactly what I need! Also, love the style. It looks stylish on my night table.

this product sets the time itself, no manual way to use it

i have a piece of junk that can't be returned, only had a 30 day window to return, took daily attempts to get it to set. Drove it all over the area and it never set the time correctly. What a piece of garbage. Really wish I could return it but Amazon says no way! be careful what you buy!

I love Atomic Clocks

Hate to reset clocks for DST and also because my electricity goes off all the time. I had an oldfashioned atomic alarm just like this one but too many sleepy times knocked it to the floor and the alarm doesn't work. I Love this twin replacement. Easy to read dial, loud alarm and I don't have to worry about electricity going off or setting. Rather expensive but worth it for me because I travel plus get up at 5:00 for pool exercise time.

It is only loud if it is next to your ear!
