Good size and don’t leak, outside gets soggy quickly if wet

I these cups work well for my hot coffee and tea. The cups has a leak proof lining on the inside and I haven’t had any leaks yet. The outside of the cup is more of a plain white cardboard and if it gets wet it is soaks into the paper. The outside doesn’t get wet too often so it hasn’t been a big deal. Great value for the amount of cups and they are sturdy enough.

Great cups for a quick coffee!

I certainly wish these came with lids, but nonetheless they are great and solid disposable cups. Perfect for taking a coffee on the run (while using your balance due to lack of lid).

Expensive but well worth it.

These cups are definitely heavy duty and much better than I normally get. They feel very solid even when pushing down or squeezing. That is something you don’t feel with traditional paper cups. What I really like is that due to the way they are manufactured you do not have to use a sleeve with hot liquids. They get warm but not hot and do not loose their sturdiness with hot liquids. You don’t feel like they will simply go limp or get weak and flimsy on you. As stated they do not come with lids but those are available if needed. These are more expensive than what I normally purchase but due to the construction you could actually hand wash them for better value.

Innovative all-in-one cup for hot drinks

I got these Solo ThermoGuard cups for my workplace breakroom. They are thicker than the average paper cup, and at the bottom, you can see the double wall for insulation. The design works well to protect from the heat of just-off-the-boil tea, and to keep the drink warm even without a lid. No need for a cup sleeve. This cup is a slightly different shape from the 12-oz. lids I have. This cup is a bit shorter and wider than the standard (and cheaper) 12-oz. cup, and so my existing lids won't fit. If you are looking for lids, the product information for this cup says: "The DWTG8W cup can be used with the following lids, sold separately: LB3081-00007, TL38R2-0007 and TL38B2-0004."

Pricey, but good quality

The cups that I received arrived in perfect condition- no crunched or smooshed cups. The cups come in a big box with twenty sleeves of thirty cups each. We use these cups for both hot and cold drinks, and the cups handle both well. They are thick and well insulated, and they hold hot coffee just fine without getting weak at the seams. I have not had any leaks or imperfect cups yet. I will update my review if I have any issues, but a visual inspection of the unopened sleeves makes me think that there won't be any issues. These are much more expensive than the coffee cups we usually buy, but they work quite well and I am happy with them. **UPDATE** I noticed a spelling error and updated to fix it, but while I am here I figured that I'd update that we're 2/3 through the cups and have not had an issue with a single cup yet. They are quality cups.

Excellent Quality and Performance

These ThermoGuard paper cups from Solo are excellent. They have some very good features such as: - Sturdy enough to not collapse while carrying. - Rolled rim is easy on the lips and sips from with no drips - Accommodates the Solo ThermoGuard lids for the entire lineup of 12, 16, 20 and 24 oz cups. - Has a raised bottom and sits stable on flat surfaces with little heat transfer - Has a dual layer side design that insulates the sidewalls via the enclosed air channels - When containing cold beverages has less condensation - When holding warm beverages keeps the sides less hot to the touch - An interior poly lining protects against leaky seams and soak thru MADE IN THE USA. I really like this line from Solo. These are simple looking but are made from a complex set of designs. In the end you get a good value (approx $0.17 per cup) with excellent performance capabilities. I highly recommend these as an alternative to offering hot sleeves for regular paper cups. 5 stars.

Next Level Quality, A Little Wide To Hold

These cups are next level! They do indeed keep your hands comfortable with hot drinks, as there’s a sleeve already built-in and wrapped around the entire cup! I do wish they came with lids, as that’s how I prefer to carry my drinks on-the-go. I also find the cups a little wide to hold. I think a slimmer and taller proportions would offer a better grip for the same amount of ounces. Otherwise, the quality is outstanding, and I’m inclined to recommend them for home/office use only, but I’d skip these for to-go cups because you could easily spill your drink in the car or other inconvenient area to clean up. Five stars for the great quality!

Double insulated and keeps your drinks hot.

I like these ThermoGuard paper cups because they don't require a sleeve to keep from burning your hands. The cups are double insulated so there isn't any need for a sleeve and less slipping than a sleeve. The cups are shaped a bit differently from other brands as it is a bit shorter and wider but it works well. The lids are kind of hard to find and had to call a couple of different places but I did find them. Even though the cup keeps your drink hot, I like lids to prevent spill over. Well made cups and I have enough to last me for a while. I use them for the grandkids instead of giving them a stoneware mug. It is easier for them to handle and don't have to worry about a broken mug if they accidentally drop it.
