Perfect for me

I wonder what's up with all these negative reviews... Are some appliances not as magnetic as others or something? We have an older whirlpool fridge and I bought these to hold our oven mitts on the side of the fridge. I was specifically looking for hooks that are NOT swivel hooks and I also didn't want these hooks where the end of the hooks curves inwards toward the base of the hook. These fit the bill while being all metal which is what I also wanted. Truth be told, the magnets on the back ARE tiny and yes, the magnets look like they were glued on by a 2 year old... Not a great workmanship there for sure. But these hooks work perfectly for what I needed them for (holding the oven mitts on the side of the fridge). Nothing slides around, and the mitts are extremely easy to grab off the hook when you need an oven mitt. The actual hook part is smooth and points slightly outwards, away from the base of the hook, to make taking the mitts off the hooks and putting the mitts back on the hooks a breeze. No need to fight with the swivel hooks! These hooks are still in the same place where I put them about a month ago (I waited to post a review) and they have not moved at all. They also feel like they could hold more weight than an oven mitt for sure. Yay for my fridge, I guess, lol. Anyway, these are absolutely perfect for me and I hope they work for you.

Not strong

I used one magnet to hang a dish towel from, and the magnet will hold it fine but any slight tug on my end pulls it downward. These magnets may be okay to hang your keys or a small fork from, but anything other than that will yank it downward and cause it to fall. I bought a $5 tiny shelf from another store, and a single magnet wont hold the shelf, it takes two, and I can't put anything on the shelf or it'll drop down. Considering what I paid for it, I'm not too upset, it's just another cheap amazon product.

Small magnets than expected

I was unable to use the hooks as I had planned because the small magnets on the back of the hooks were not strong enough. I had to use them to hang lightweight potholders on the front of the stove. I’m forced to search for other ones that can hold heavier items such as a cooking utensil.

Magnets not strong enough to Hang a lightweight kitchen towel

A bit disappointed with these. The magnets are not strong enough to hang a lightweight kitchen towel on the side of my fridge. Not sure what I will use them for???

Looks good does the job for light weight items

Looks good and works great for small items which weigh less. I tried hanging the measuring cups and the magnet starts to slide down on the refrigerator’s surface. So i would not recommend this product to be used on smooth surfaces.

Definitely not a full-backed magnets.

I was expecting a heavy duty magnets on the back and honestly, this could probably hold less weight than a magnet clip you can get from the dollar store. It's only got a small watch battery-sized magnet on the back. Aesthetically it's alright, but not really useful for my purpose; initially I got these thinking they would be useful as a jacket hook on the back of a magnetic door, but so far, it's only able to hold up a cap.

Strong and Useful

I used these to hang my oven mits on the side of the fridge as we have a smaller kitchen with limited drawer space. They are sturdy and look pleasing. They hold the weight of the larger oven mits well and do not slide down the side of the fridge at all, even when someone slams the fridge door by accident.

Doesn’t hold much

Didn’t have a weight limit listed and said it could hold potholders. Well, barely, is what I’ll say. And it only holds certain ones that aren’t too heavy. The first set I put on and the hook just slid down the refrigerator. Not great at all. Going to order something else.

I like these little magnets. My only complaint is the magnet part should be a wee bit stronger as some things cause them to slide on my fridge.
