Step on technology

Was excited when I first got this scale because it was on sale! When I first got it, it worked fine. Now I notice that I'm having issues with the "step on technology" feature. When I step on the scale it does not activate. I have to recalibrate my scale often because of were it sits in my bathroom and it's made of glass so I have it out of the way so it's not constantly bumped. When weighing myself I have to lightly jump so the scale so it will recognize that I'm standing on it. I really like this company and I own another Eatsmart scale. I purchase this one because my previous scale started doing the same thing. I've had my old Eatsmart scale for almost 2 years. Really bum because I wanted the Eatsmart body analysis scale but didn't have the money at the time. I'm starting to regret my purchase. I want to return it but don't want to go through the hassle because I only paid 11.95 for it. Having a scale is really important to me because I'm on a weight loss journey. I have a rare disease which causes weight gain if I'm not careful with my diet. I have Graves' disease which is a thyroid disease. My previous Eatsmart scale has helped me lose over 50 pounds. I don't know if I can say the same for this scale.

Comes with batteries but they were dead. It's also not accurate.

The scale is nice but the "new" batteries that came with it were enough for me to step on it twice and they read "low" immediately. The scale is nice and easy to read and use, however you must keep it in the exact same spot for accurate reading. I stood on the scale in 3 different places in my room and got 3 different readings. The only way it was the same is if left in the same spot, I stepped on it a 2nd time and it read the same. Point being don't move it. LOL

Decent enough but maybe not that accurate

It works. It gives us an idea of our weights. But I'm not entirely sure it's as accurate as the descriptions claim. I've had mine a year now and, due to frequent trips to the doctor's office for various things, I've been able to track my weight through them as well as on the scale. The doctor's office always has me heavier than I actually am, and lately I think I'm more inclined to believe their scale than this one. It does give me a good idea if I've lost or gained weight, but the actual weight it gives doesn't seem to be accurate to me. Again, I've had this for a year and I've had my doubts for that entire year.

Takes a while

Description says you just step on it and it just works. Well, I have to slap it/press down with my foot a few times before it activates. Then, bc the precision is soo keen, it takes a while for the numbers to stop and just tell me my damn weight! I will stand super still and hold my breath and it's still running numbers. It's great how precise the decimal point is, but I'm trying to see the amount of Pounds lost, not wait for the scale to finish computing the ounces. Nonetheless, the blue numbers are neat to look at. I use it once a week to check on my workout.
