I didn't get these for fishing, but I thought I would leave a review since no one else had. For the size, these are considerably lighter than a lead sinker. They look a bit shiny to be completely aluminum (and I have no idea what the material actually is), but that should give you a rough idea of what these feel like in your hand. I don't have a scale precise enough to weigh something this small, or I would give better information. Otherwise, they crimped really nicely but took more force than a lead sinker would. They are designed to be removable, but I will hopefully never need to test that with my application. There was no visible residue on my skin after handling them, which is a plus. Honestly, I haven't been fishing in many years, but I used to go fairly frequently. I think that I would be really shocked if I pulled these out of my tackle box, expecting to replace a lead sinker of the same size and get the same results. Just wanted to post that word of caution in case it makes a difference to someone.

Repeat purchase

This is a repeat purchase of this product, which speaks for itself. I need a weight to cast an inexpensive reel for bottom fishing and did not want to leave lead in my private pond.
