I like these better than the other simpson coated screws. They bite into the wood and don't strip out as easily.

The Best!

Other lesser screws will occasionally sheer off in the wood, especially when a knot is involved; NEVER had a Simpson Strong Tie sheer off on me. Simpson makes nothing but the best!

pulled together my 2"x14" beams tight

These things are beasts. I did pilot hole my beams. These things pulled together my 2"x14" beams tight and embedded themselves flush without any head damage.

Great product.

I bought so many of these for my deck project. I don't have a lot of experience but these are the best screws I ever used.
