I recently purchased this pattern and made the Mary costume for my granddaughter who is 10. I recently started sewing in retirement and found the pattern easy to follow. I followed the large children's size and it was true to her size. I made it without a fitting and then surprised her with it recently because she was doing a play. She was thrilled with it. I made only the dress and veil. When my grandson saw it he asked if I would make him the Joseph costume so that is my next project!

Way overpriced!

I found the same pattern at a fabric store for $1.50! I’m sure it was discounted at the fabric store but the difference should not be this amount. On line is not the way to go when purchasing patterns.

my mom used this pattern as a base for our kids' version of the nativity in our Christmas program. She did have to alter the designs slightly so we didn't have to pull the costumes over the kids' heads but it was nice to have a reference for the designs.
