Perfect for my 5th Wheel

Was a perfect match to my 30 Amp 5th Wheel camper to allow me to operate and service it as needed. Works great. Was tight getting wires in using 10-guage wire, but was easy to wire after I removed the terminal retaining plate. I removed the plate attached my wires to the terminals separately then placed the terminals back in receptical. That was the easiest way I found to wire the plug. I mounted it on a 4x4 post with the UF wire in 3/4 conduit to protect when weeds are cut. Great box and plug from 5th wheel fit great. Box even has a hole to lock the cover so no one can tamper with rig plug or disconnect the plug.

Different design than competitors, but it works.

I wish they had included pictures of the inside of this in the product description. I would not have bought this if I had seen the receptacle. I have a 50 amp receptacle, and really only needed the NEMA 3R enclosure. I wasn't concerned about other reviews complaining about the receptacle because I intended to replace it anyway. Unfortunately my receptacle does not fit. The receptacle included is attached directly to the face plate, with screws through the receptacle, rather than other similar products where the receptacle is mounted on its own plate which is screwed to the back of the face plate. You can see in the photos that the cutout in the faceplate is not round, but has two tabs to attach the receptacle. Also, this product has perforated knockouts, so its not waterproof, whereas the other one I purchased had knockouts marked but not perforated, so that it was waterproof. UPDATE: I ended up installing this as is, and had no problems with the receptacle or tabs.
