Controls need improvement!

This is soft and good weight but it automatically goes to 1 for heat. So you must push button everytime to go up, so 6 or 7 pushes for a decent heat, then the time automatically goes all the way up, so you have to the push that a gazillion times to get it to shut off in 1 hour. Im not sure why im so annoyed by this but i am.

Love the color but the heating felt spotty

1. I live in Alaska, so I love to have a heated blanket on my bed in the winter. While it works, the heating does not seem even throughout the blanket. 2. I love the color and the softness. It is very comfortable to use on its own. 3. The blanket and it’s operation was good for the price.

Great Product (if it would stay on my bed)

I haven't used an electric blanket since I was a teenager. Now that I am much older (retired), I am really getting sensitive to cold. I also don't like to use too many blankets or comforters to stay warm. I like this electric blanket - it is nice to turn it on before going to bed and being able to jump under the already warm covers! I also like being able to just use a very light cover on top of it to keep the covers light. My only complaint is the blanket tends to creep off the end of the bed due to the weight of the electric connectors and cords being at that end. I have zip tied the cords to the retainer bar to reduce the weight of the cord pull, but the blanket still creeps down every time I turn ( I do that a lot as I can only sleep on one side for 2 hrs max and then have to turn). It is really annoying to have to grab the blanket and pull t back up to my head in the middle of the night. I would have given this blanket 5 stars if not for the creep effect.

Great Warming Blanket/Heats Up Quick/Cords Too Short/Controls Too Bright & Loud

This blanket is deliciously soft and heavy enough to keep the warmth in even after turning it off. For those reasons it's our favorite of many electric blankets we have owned. However the control boxes clicks very loudly and the lights on them are too bright. But the most aggravating thing is the cords from the control boxes to the blanket port are TOO SHORT to reach unless you run them between the mattress and box springs, which you're not supposed to do. So we have them duct taped to the bed frame. We won't return the blanket because after 3+ months of use we really really like it in spite of the issues.

This is the softest, snuggliest throw blanket I've ever used and I use it every day in winter

I was skeptical but this soft throw blanket has met every dream of a super soft plushy warming blanket and I use it every day. We keep our house cooler in winter to lower the heating bills. This keeps me comfortably warm and feeling positively spoiled while I'm working at my computer, watching something on TV, or even reading a book, without having to over-heat the whole house. It has an automatic shut off so after a few hours it will start flashing at the highest level without any heat so you do have to reset it, but that isn't a big issue. It is a wonderful personal heating blanket and I'm so happy I have it.

Good Deal

I bought a different brand and had to return it, so this one was a second try. I bought the full size, though my bed is a queen since I do not share a bed. Overall I am pretty happy with my purchase. Notes: -Biggest con for me is that it takes a while to heat up. I suggest turning it on at *minimum* 1hr before you want to use it. Once it's hot - it's hot! -Thin blanket. -The wires do not go from edge to edge of the blanket. I was not expecting that, and the pictures don't show you that, either. The pictures have the blanket sideways. A full size on a queen would've been fine if it weren't for that. It stretches across my bed perfectly, but if you are sleeping 2 people on a queen, I might even suggest getting a king. -The light does not stay on to show the blanket is on. I'm okay with that but other people aren't.

Control cord too short.

The cords need to be about 12 inches longer to reach the top of the bed.
