Great non-WiFi monitor

Bought this monitor to keep an eye on here on my grandson when he visits. Mom‘s instruction was to not use a Wi-Fi-based monitor. Seen the ring security issues of late? That is why. No cell phone or tablet required for this guy. If non-WiFi is what you’re looking for this is probably the one you want. I recommend this monitor at this price point. The range is impressive. I placed a monitor in a bedroom in the center of the house. I then walked to the backyard and every corner of the property, including down the street four houses away. The receiver was receiving from the camera through at least three walls and brick. Still, the signal strength never dropped below 4 bars (out of five). Both video and sound did not fade (I had football game on tv for sound). Given this, I believe the claim of 900+ feet range, though I did not measure it precisely. The quality of the video on the receiver screen is adequate but not so impressive. Remember, you are not receiving on an iPhone. The screen size is similar to that of an old flip phone (remember those).

So far zero complaints except for the battery life....

So easy to use like 1 step set up. Night vision picture quality is great. The battery does not last too long though after about an hour it goes from fully charged to 1 bar.

Great and reliable baby monitor while but again

As a short overview this is an awesome monitor for the price that allows you to see the babies with excellent monitor range. It also has great night vision and will even play music or let you speak to the babies remotely. I would definitely buy again am recommending to my pregnant friends. For the long version, the my wife and I just brought home our newborn twins and had received a nice WiFi monitor but wanted a monitor with a dedicated monitor just in case WiFi went out. This monitor has been amazing with all the features you need and the only initial drawback turned out to be a benefit in disguise. We were expecting the screen to turn off or go into a rest mode at night but we ended up just putting a rag over the screen which let us quickly check on the babies without wondering if the monitor was still working. The WiFi monitor to contrast would send a notification on sound or motion, but unless you kept it running all the time it took too much effort to find the right buttons in the dark to wake it up. The monitor works all across my house and even out into the yard. We haven’t had a single issue and would definitely buy another if we needed another camera.

Much better than the one I had

Few things I like about this are: 1. Both the camera and the receiver have on/off buttons that are on the side. 2. Long enough cable so it reaches out to far away outlets. 3. Option to mount on wall. 4. Sit securely on our window sill, it has the nonskid rubber. 5. Good enough quality to make sure our daughter is, we are able to hear her pretty clearly :) I used Iced Bear as the model, as you can see, he shows up pretty well in the receiver. Not high definition but I don't need to see every strand of hair like I'm watching TV so this works for us and wallet friendly.

The product is great for what you pay

I must brag about how well this thing picks up sounds and how well it tells temperature. The monitor is weird as you must hold it upright to see the screen. The battery on the monitor is poor as well. At best you get maybe an hour and a half battery life. Night vision is good, very sensitive. I dislike the beep at the beginning of turning on the camera. Doesnt disturb baby but it makes me anxious that it would.

Great value and great Range

The media could not be loaded. So this is our second video monitor unit. We needed one for the grandparents for when they were watching the kids and didn't want to spend top dollar for all the extra features like a motorized camera. We ended up trying this one and it's been perfect. Great range and great picture. The lullaby feature does play thru the monitor but it's not overpowering like other units. Screen quality is ok but with a small screen it shows what you need. Haven't had any issues with the battery or night vision. We be suing it more of the next few weeks and I'll tell you if anything changes.

Good choice for the price

This is our second SereneLife cam since we accidentally dropped it in water, but for the price it's better than using a wireless camera that you use an app on your phone to view (good video quality but 60% of the time couldn't connect to it). We've had both and I would rather use this baby monitor. Plus it has music and temperature reading. Picture quality isn't that great but it's good enough to see what's going on. If you need a cheap video baby monitor I would recommend this one and buy an additional 3 year warranty off Amazon in case you have an accident.

Great monitor with nice features

This a great baby monitor. It’s very easy to set up and also very mobile should you want to take it different places. My wife really likes the fact that she can clip the monitor to her belt/pants while she works around the house so that’s a great feature as well. The only downside is the monitor screen picture isn’t great from certain angles. If you’re looking at it dead in it’s fine, but from any side angle you can’t really see the video very well. It does have some other nice features such as being about to talk through the monitor and even play music. Overall it’s a great monitor for the price.

This is a scam listing.

The packaging seemed the match this listing, but the product inside not only looked different, but it had a different brand name on it, and it would not display anything when the monitor and camera were synced (did not arrive synced). Thankful for Amazon's return policy, but not stoked about the waste of time and basically the production of more garbage.

Range is not as posted

It boasts of a 850 yard range, but on the box and in reality it is only good for 250 meters. It drops connection if it isn't in line of sight when out past 100 yards.

Barely gets 30 feet if a wall is in the way, no better than regular ones

Bought this to replace the regular distance one we have, it’s no better, save your money
