Great value for some key animals to add to our Schleich collection

Dogs and cats are just about the only animals that my city kid sees on a daily basis, so I definitely wanted these for his Montessori language basket! As all Schleich models, they are well-made and detailed. The goose has also become a real favorite for some reason (maybe because we have some books about geese). We're not using the baby cow or horse very much yet, but I think they'll be great once we want to learn about "mamas and babies" as we also have an adult cow and horse purchased separately. I noticed that the price of this set really fluctuates for some reason. I bought it through this Amazon listing for $14.99, which did make it a very good deal (basically, the price of just the cat and the dog, if bough individually). If you're seeing a much higher price than that, it's worth waiting or seeing if there's a "used" set being sold through Amazon warehouse (in my experience, all of those used items are in great condition!).

Very Realistic and Durable

These figurines are the best quality toys. The details are amazing. They are very durable too. A lot of other animal figurines don't pay attention to details or colors the way Schleich does. I like it for teaching my daughter about animals. Being able to buy them in sets is great! Buying them individually can get expensive. If I could own all of their products, I would. =) As soon as my 2 year old daughter opened this gift at Christmas she opened the gift and looked inside for "more animals." I did buy her two sets so she did find more and she hasn't put them down since. We love this brand.

Very well made and can go in the dishwasher!

Due to the coronavirus we wanted to put the plastic animals from the church nursery into the dishwasher for sanitizing, that is when we realized that the original animals were NOT easy to clean. We chose these animals because they ARE EASY TO CLEAN, so we have replaced ALL of the animals. These have very good details, are very realistic, sturdy, stand up well, and thankfully are easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Accurate proportioned solid little animals

Pros: colours perfect, no moulding faults, very durable and despite my son chewing them they still look as good as new. guaranteed quality Cons: Slightly pricier than others at the same quality. Can't get smaller ones e.g. horse to stand up independently. Takaway: Good for playing with for kids as long as they aren't expecting to position them out without falling over

Good Quality

I bought this set for my 2 year old great-nephew. He enjoys playing with them. I didn't notice before ordering that it is only suitable for +3years. They are very good quality figures but are not all the same scale. However this doesn't appear to detract from their play-ability. I would buy more in this series for him.
