Look very elegant

I changed out all the knobs in a house I just purchased. I shopped around and bought the keyed, privacy, dummy, and passage knobs from different vendors to get the best pricing I could. It is amazing the varying costs. Shop around and it will save you hundreds if you are doing a whole house. These look wonderful in the house. I was replacing old knobs so didn't have any drilling to do. These worked perfectly to replace the old hardware. I did have to chisel some latch openings when they hit a little high or low on about 4 replacements. That isn't bad out of 32 replacements. Out of all these new handles from various vendors I didn't have a single mechanical issue. Some were purchased from various vendors on Amazon, some were bought online from Home Depot(they don't carry them in the store). These were all easy to install as well. Some reviewers commented on having issues getting them level. True they are square so you need to level them, but I didn't have and issue. I used an electric hand drill to mount them. I just got both mounting screws made up most of the way, had someone stand back a bit to be my eye level and tightened one bolt when they said good. Once one bolt is tight they hold in place to tighten the second one. Have them check both sides of the door. You can hold the knob plates on either side of the door with one hand and drill with the other. If you do it on your own it would be a hassle as what look level up close may not be.

BEWARE

BEWARE! I didn't realize until the return date was closed that the door knob was missing the latch. We hadn't gotten around to changing the knob until yesterday. So much for buying from amazon warehouse deals. It's not much of a deal if your missing a key part. The other lock we bought at the same time doesn't actually lock. We did realize this in time to return but decided it wasn't that important because it's in our 7 year old daughters room.
