Keeps my coffee hot

I bought this as a replacement for another one that I have. I accidently threw away the lid. I love this cup. I enjoy sipping on my coffee in the morning, but only if it stays warm. This cup does that. It fits under my single cup coffee maker and keeps my coffee warm. I don't take it in the car. The opening in the lid doesn't have the ability to close so that's why. Overall, I love this cup and was happy to find another one.

Cute Cup

It is a really cute cup especially if you are a cat person. Holds a good 12 ounces but it doesn’t keep coffee hot as long as I would like.

PURRfect mug!

I have plenty of stainless cups and tumblers but I've never had a stainless mug. This is well-insulated but not heavy. The lid is thin and easy to remove - which concerned me at first, but it stays in place. It is the CUTEST (I got the cat pattern because I'm a crazy cat lady), and it works so well! The handle is very comfortable, too, which is another thing I wasn't sure about when I first ordered because it's kind of rectangular, and not curved like a traditional handle. I often make a cup of hot tea in the afternoons at work. Then a million things happen and when I get to drink it, it's cold. I usually have to reheat my tea in the microwave 3-4 times before I get to drink it all. With this mug, I can sip on my tea for a couple HOURS without it getting cold. It's insane how well it works! When I pour my tea and it gets busy, now I don't fret because I know it will be piping hot still whenever I get back to it, even if it's 30 minutes later. Also - I love that it has the travel lid because sometimes I get too delayed drinking it and then next thing I know it's 5pm, so I can just take it in the car with me if I don't finish it first. I also bought one of these mugs for my mom, who likes to have a mug of hot tea every evening while watching tv. However, she's quite the early bird and often falls asleep several times while watching her shows. So her tea has to go in the microwave multiple times usually. This mug has been perfect for her as well! This mug is SO worth the money. I'd honestly pay even more for it, that's how much I love it. I can't rave about it enough! Definitely go get one if you're thinking about it, you won't be disappointed.

Cute Cup

Given as a gift to a relative that likes cats. She seemed very pleased with it and fit with her drinking style.

Less likely to knock over

Only marked down the leak proof because it is has open mouthed lid. If you knock it over, it will spill. Otherwise it's great!! I have always liked my metal water bottles from S'well so I went ahead and snagged this mug. It's more stable on my computer desk than any of my water bottles (some of which have been damaged and no longer stand without assistance). Its also easier to use at the dinner table for water in lieu of a bottle because it's takes up less space. I'm also less likely, again, to knock it over. Helps that this has a cute cat motif. I snagged the larger "travel" version as well and will review that later.

Unusually, it does what it claims to

My daughter gave this mug to her mother as a birthday present. The function and motif fit in every respect and it has become a most cherished gift. When filled with hot coffee, it does need to settle a little before one can sip from it--the top of the metal rim can be too hot on the bottom lip. However, after the initial wait it is excellent. it didn't leak significantly, despite one our cats knocking it over, and the contents remain hot for at least an hour. We have cleaned it in the dishwasher several times and it looks as good as new. This was the surprise gift.

Defect

I’ve had this in my cart for so long so imagine the excitement of finally purchasing it. Upon receiving it, I saw this. I’m at a loss for words. There should be a quality check before shipping the item. I’m disappointed. At this point, can I even exchange this?

Every cat person dream mug

This mug just makes me so happy. Because I love cats and Swell. Works well, especially during WFH. We need that extra happiness ;)
