I got this for my black miniature pug and she was an adorable spider for Halloween! It's relatively easy to put on, but does tend to start going sideways on her when she walks. The legs bounce when she runs, so it actually looks like a spider moving about! It's well constructed and the leg length was perfect for a pugs short legs. I think I bought a medium since pugs have thick necks and chest compared to their height. It was slightly long on her, but not too long. I'm not sure if the length of the legs would look as cute on a medium or big dog since the legs on a medium were too big my little girl, but it's super cute otherwise.

Best for short haired dogs?

I bought this after seeing a cute video online of this or something similar. It didn’t work well for my dog. She is a small, longhaired, black dog and this blended in with her fur too much. Also, the spider legs don’t really stand out at all, but sort of flop down and hang under the dog. Cute idea but it didn’t work for us.

It worked and it’s machine washable

We used it ... but 2 problems... needed more Velcro or something to keep costume from sliding to the side.. also my dog peed on the legs! Lol Perhaps a sleeve / stretchy tube design and if the legs were bendable it would have helped. But it is machine washable and I may make some adjustments to the design.

Stayed on well

My dog looked adorable. He is all black is he looked awesome. Still think he should have won for scariest at the Campground contest. He was robbed by a chihuahua in a skirt! That's not scary!

Will be used for many years

We have a small dog and it was perfect for her. We wished the legs were a little longer but overall we are very satisfied and will is again next year.

Cute and soft!

i love this spider costume! Its’ straps are adjustable enough, so I doesn’t slide around much. The legs are malleable enough that my dog can lie down if he wants!
