Cheap imitation shipped, not Rubbermaid

I opened the box to install, and didn't notice that Rubbermaid wasn't printed anywhere. When there was no soap bottle, I realized this was a cheap imitation. I'll buy the real thing somewhere.

NOT FOR FOAM

This product does NOT accept the one-shot FOAM soaps- specifically Rubbermaid #FG750390- even though the description and an answer in the Q&A suggests otherwise. I tried to use the "Get product support" button on my Amazon order page, but got no response from anyone. Apparently there is a difference between one-shot foam and one-shot liquid refills.

No issues works great installation was straightforward and they should self dispenser uses soap it’s not a phone they make two different versions I had the foam I wasn’t happy with it so I converted now to the soap big difference in the bottle so be careful when watering if you want a foam dispenser what do you want a soap dispenser. The only issue is the soaps are expensive so what I’ve done is a drill the hole of the very top I had my own soap Dawn Palmolive and I thought it up that way much cheaper they don’t like that but it works great and I use a rubber plug that is used for faucets to close close the hole, And we have to refill it again I just remove the plug Phillip for the whole close the hole with a plug again and get another three weeks

Way too sensitive -- wasted soap

Suspicious that the website says it's Rubbermaid, but the box and instruction manual are completely unbranded. The manual mentions a warranty, but there's no company name or contact information anywhere to be found! Besides all that, the major flaw I've found with this automatic soap dispenser is that it's way too sensitive; if your hand (or another object, such as a plate) moves anywhere nearby -- and I mean *anywhere* nearby -- soap squirts out -- what a waste! (and the Rubbermaid soap that goes with this dispenser is *not* cheap). Maybe I got a defective one, but I doubt it. I would steer clear of this one for sure! There are better One Shot dispensers out there in my opinion, such as 402241.
