High Quality and Well Packaged

There is nothing like that need for a quality part this this, which you would normally need to drive all the way out to the hardware store to acquire only to have it arrive magically the next day. Amazon is a great place to buy hardware like this. Unfortunately, despite my grinder advertising that it is compatible with 1 inch wheels, this particular wire wheel did not fit without rubbing the side guards. The wheel arrived just over 1 inch in thickness, which turned out to be a pro in my opinion (you're getting more than expected). After some measurements, my cheap bench grinder is to blame almost entirely. Sadly, I had to send this item back to Amazon since it did not fit. This was my fault for trusting the cheap manufacturer that produced my grinder. If you have a decent unit, this wheel should work very well.

I use this mainly to clean loc-tight off the threads of bolts, works well for this!

Nice fit for my bench grinder. I started using it immediately. I had lots of really old tools from some old timers that were quite rusty from the years. Made cleaning and shining them up a breeze.

Decent wire wheel for a fair price.

This wire wheel appears to be well built. Slightly out of round, that's why its not getting five stars. This is a fairly wide wheel (1") which I needed for my older Rockwell grinder. The wires still rub the tool rest in operation due to some fanning action, although this is lessening with more use. Some loose wires will come off the wheel during the first few spin ups, so wear eye protection always.

High quality but too thick

I bought this for my new 6" Dewalt bench grinder but the wire wheel is so thick, it binds against the right cover/guard and won't spin. I solved this by removing the guard and adding 3mm thick of washers between the guard and machine to shift it over 3mm. Now it spins with only minor rubbing.
