Looks great!

I used this to decorate the backs of cupboards and bottoms of drawers in my kitchen and bathroom. That was last summer and everything is still intact, no peeling, and still looks amazing! I've gotten lots of compliments on the design and how it looks. I love that it was a simple update that makes an older kitchen look a little nicer since I can't afford to remodel.

Poor adhesion to walls

I had great hopes for this product, but adhesive is not adequate to stay on walls. This would have been the 3rd room for me to wallpaper. I wallpapered a half bath & laundry room using peel & stick Chinese made products. This WP is American made/originated. Here are the differences: 1- Roommate WP is THICKER than chinese WP. More substantial weight, also wider (20.5" instead of 18"). 2- The Chinese WP tears easily (by fingernails). American WP needs to be cut by scissors or Xacto knife. 3- Chinese WP adhesion is EXCELLENT, very sticky, leaves no residue on walls, but sticks on walls well despite multiple peel on-peel off handling. Roommate WP adhesive is not as sticky, leaves no residue, BUT multiple peel on-peel off handling will result in LESS STICKY backing. You will probably need to add some glue paste to keep RM wallpaper on. 4- Chinese WP has cutting line/grid/instructions printed onto backing paper, which is helpful. Roommate WP backing does NOT have any cutting/grid lines. Separate paper instructions are included. 5- This particular pattern has MATTE green tea background and SHIMMERY gold metallic printed gingko leaves. 6- product arrived such that you have to reverse roll the WP because the top end for adhering to wall is at the very END of the roll. 7- you need CLEAN SMOOTH walls for this product to adhere properly. If you have popcorn ceilings, scrape off the EDGES and wipe off the wall surface of any popcorn debris. The popcorn debris will result in bumps in this WP and less sticky adhesion to wall. 8- the WP is straight, but your room walls are not perfectly square, so starting from TIGHT CORNERS is going to be a challenge. The paper backing goes on north to south, but you need to remove the backing from left to right or right to left in order to get the WP to follow the room's corners. Compounding this issue is removing the air bubbles that occur. American made wallpapers have better DESIGN/ART & QUALITY. Chinese wallpaper have better ADHESIVE. I would LOVE to buy more American made products, but in this instance, better adhesive is needed for me to feel confident enough to use the peel & stick WP on WALLS, which are subject to differing humidity levels etc. The current product would be OK in drawers, but will probably fall off when placed on walls.

Great for a quick update

I was in the mood to redecorate, so I decided to do an accent wall in my half bath. I’m not typically the one who does the home improvement projects, but I gave it a go and it was surprisingly easy! I bought 2 rolls to do this one wall. You definitely need a smoothing tool and an X-acto knife to get the job done. The hardest part was getting the patterns lined up when I started a new strip. It doesn’t line up exactly no matter how hard you try (which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars). It’s not perfect, but it’s barely noticeable. Overall I’m very happy with it and everyone who sees it is impressed! If I can do it by myself, so can you!

Looks sophisticated, easy to install.

This wallpaper was super easy to install. The pattern is busy enough that you don’t have to line it up exactly. It looks sophisticated and it’s easy to keep clean. We hung in in about 1.5 hours (two people).

Love it!

I love the print, color and metallic finish of the gold in the paper. I liked it so much I decided to cover the entire room to avoid the hassle of painting. My room is fairly small so i purchased 3 rolls and ended up purchasing another 4 after that. A little pricey but so worth it! Didn't have any issues with the adhesive..in fact I was able to pull it down and restick it if I didn't like the placement and it stuck just fine. The paper is on the thicker side which was nice. My walls had a little texture to them so I did sand it a bit beforehand just to make sure it would adhere better.

Contact paper, fun and cheap

Definitely not a wallpaper. This product is a contact paper, to use on the walls as a wallpaper was a bit tricky - didn’t adhere the best to the flat painted drywall walls which was frustrating. Your walls won’t have a chance if not perfectly smooth and flat paint finish. Pattern was impossible to match and with no overlap. But pattern is so busy it’s not too noticeable. Of three wallpaper products I used recently this one was at the bottom for product and install but the price for what you get is very fair. Cheap way to make a fun change and won’t be permanent. Using on the hutch doors was a better application then the walls and adhered well.

Large impact for renters or tight budgets

We installed this in our basement kitchennete. Very straightforward to do and only required one roll. It was just the statement I wanted for that tiny spot. I would definitely encourage you to have a second pair of hands to help. It's been up for a few months now and continues to hold up and look great. Don't hesitate getting this!

Beautiful wallpaper!!! In love!!!

Absolutely in love with this wallpaper. Was easy to put up with a cheap wallpaper kit I bought earlier. The adhesive is strong but easy to unstick it from the wall and fix any bumps. The background of the wallpaper is a regular white color and not a warm/creamy white as in the photos but it works well with the pattern. It turned out to be far more beautiful than I imagined it. Hands down my favorite pattern so far.

Good affordable wallpaper

I took a chance knowing I might get cheap crap but I am very satisfied with my purchase. The gold is metallic but not the pretty iridescent sparkly kind it’s very basic, hence I remove 1 star. I bought the roll for $40 and now it’s $50. I would not pay more than $50 if it goes higher. A note for the price conscious consumer: The amount in the roll much smaller than a regular wallpaper roll hence the low price - you will need several rolls to do larger rooms like a dining or living space, even more if you have elevated ceilings and it probably ends up being the same or more expensive than purchasing more professional wallpaper for $150 per roll from York or Graham & Brown or wayfair and you’ll get *much* nicer quality paper. But if you’re doing a small space like me (my walk in closet) or accent wall then this is a good purchase. The contact paper makes the application more convenient than applying paste and the paper is a bit elastic so you can stretch it to cover small gaps instead of having to apply again. Technique Tips: only remove adhesive for the top of the panel and adhere it to the wall where desired, then slowly remove the rest of the adhesive backing while applying slight tension and use a squeegee-like rubber tool to flatten the paper against the wall as you go. The pattern is perfect in that it is easy to line up and match (you are supposed to apply wallpaper panels from left to right for match) yet also very forgiving if not matched perfectly for those odd spots above doorways/bookshelves.

Easy to install and looks great!

In love and obsessed. Easy to install, good workable weight. If you mess up don’t worry about peeling it up and sticking down again. A little difficult to line up the pattern at the seams but it’s busy enough you can’t noice unless you get close. For a little wall refresh I would highly recommend!

Fell off after a few days

Wanted to spruce up my office and it looked great after installing. Went home for the weekend and on Monday half of it had completely fallen off the walls. I washed the walls with iso/water mix before installing. - UPDATE: even more of it fell after a few additional days (see second photo) I applied 7 rolls and only two strips remain on the walls. Very disappointing after spending the money and then spending the time to put it up.

Quality

Very easy to install. This my 3rd wall and fastest one to work on. Took me 2 hours to complete the whole wall. Adhesive could be a little better but overall good quality and easy application.
