Had this set for 5 years and it's still great

Belatedly writing this review 5 YEARS later to let everyone know this line of play food is amazing. It holds up great and still looks new after going through 2 kiddos and lots of play.

Perfect and good value

Gifted to my 2 yr old grandson and it is a popular choice amongst many toy options. Great quality, size of pieces is perfect, very colorful and realistic for pretend play. Just a good product all around and I highly recommend. Our family is amused that my grandson has become seriously attached to the burger pattie!

Love the set - but missing a salami!

My son was so excited to receive this set as a gift because he loves making pretend sandwiches. However, our set was missing one of the two salamis (I think it had an extra lettuce instead) and he's really disappointed by this. We have a ton of lettuces and he was really excited to have some meats and cheeses for sandwich making. Other than that it's a great set - I just wish it had exactly what it was supposed to come with (or that we could get the missing salami!).

Learning resources always has the greatest toys.

This is a very very cute and This great toy is very realistic my daughter loves playing with it with her kitchen set I definitely recommend it learning resources is a great brand for learning toys and Children use their imaginations to the best of their ability I definitely recommend this.

Some of the Most Realistic and Best-Made Toy Food Around

I have purchased more than one set of Learning Resource play food and have not been disappointed yet. The food is made of a very durable plastic, and has some weight to it. This is not the cheap-quality stuff that will get non-removable dimples when you squeeze it, or when it gets accidentally stepped on. This is high-quality, dense plastic that will last forever. Some of it is so realistic-looking, I've had to pick it up off the floor and inspect it to make sure it isn't the real thing. I will definitely be a repeat buyer of Learning Resource play food in the future.

Best play food on the market

I got this for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas and he just loves it. The food is very realistic looking, but small enough for little hands. The potato chips are so realistic you think they are real. It feels like the food is made of a rubbery type plastic that keeps it from sliding off the plate. The sandwich pieces don't need the Velcro to stay together they just kind of stick to each other. I just gave it to my grandson last night with the rest of his Christmas and there were a lot of toys and other gifts but the only ones he played with was this one and the Pretend and Play Pizza Shop also made by Learning Resources. He got other food sets to go with a play kitchen at his house and the Learning Resources, especially New Sprouts, are far superior to any other plastic or wood set. These are a little costlier but well worth it. Going to get the New Sprouts Garden Salad set next.

creative fun

If your child likes to be creative then this set is PERFECT. Our 4 year old Daughter absolutely loved it right out of the box and has been making us 'meals' ever since. The quality of anything that I have purchased from Learning Resources is second to none and I have been consistently satisfied with each and every purchase.
