My granddaughter is enjoying playing with it. It reminds me of the Fisher Price play food I used to buy for my children.

The best play food

This is by far the best play food we’ve had. Most play food is either wooden or plastic. Wooden food is not safe when thrown across the room and the plastic food can easily break or be smashed. This food is like a really nice durable rubber. Doesn’t hurt if you get it thrown at you and can’t be smashed when stepped on. The food that comes in this set is super cute too. My 2 and 3 year olds love this!! I’ll definitely be buying more Learning Resources play food

The only play food to buy!

I love these sets of New Sprouts Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner baskets. I couldn't wait to buy my daughter her very own kitchen since I loved mine so much when I was her age. I shopped around everywhere and read several Amazon reviews when it came to buying the right food to stock her fridge with. I finally settled on the Learning Resources New Sprouts sets. I'm so happy I did and the product exceeded my expectations. Why I Like It: -Very durable and constructed from a foam/rubber like material (has survived being stepped on and put in a toddler's mouth) - Adorably realistic and perfect for little hands (Food is not to scale, but that was something I was looking for after reading reviews on other foods too big for smaller pots and pans) -Created by a company that encourages creative development. (My best friend works at a school supply store and was very complimentary of the Learning Resources products.) -Teaches good food choices with more options like yogurt and veggies over chips and soda. -My child loves it! (She prefers these to her Melissa & Doug food set because its softer and more realistic) -Comes with shopping baskets that are great for pretend play and clean up! Dislikes: -The products are expensive compared with other plastic food alternatives. (for me the costs was worth it) Learning Resources New Sprouts Breakfast Basket (16 Pieces)

So awesome

My daughter had all the Melissa and Doug wooden sets when she was younger and these food sets blew those out of the water! These are so realistic almost like a mix of plastic and rubber. Made to last. Worth the price for sure.

Great, but…

Awesome product. My 18 month old and 6 year old both love playing with these food items. The only thing is some items are small and could be a chocking hazard for smaller kids.

The best play food out there

Best brand of play food for kids is hands-down the best out there. We have had two different sets for over two years now and they still look brand new. I bought this set for a present for someone else and have also gifted it to other kids in the past with great feedback. I wouldn't buy any other play food for kids. So realistic and durable and high quality.

Not soft squishy but soft and light to touch...

Very well made. Over priced but what can you do i wanted realistic to teach about food choices. Gotta look like i came out the fridge cupboard etc. Well done. Just pricey.

Amazing!

I am so pleased with this selection of play food, in the past I have purchased cheaper versions of play food but the quality of this product is great, & it's healthy foods too so my children are playing with these items, getting to know what healthy foods are and roleplaying at the same time! I have purchased the lunch, & Dinner baskets too! Great! and highly recommend!
