Fun to do - easy to sort - few false positives - lots of things to look at in the picture

I got this puzzle because my husband is a climber and I am working on making him into a puzzler. My husband says these pieces have a really nice feel - I agree. The picture is even more beautiful than it looks on the website pictures. The detail is exquisite. I pick puzzles based on storability. This puzzle is definitely sortable into groups of a reasonable size to work with. There was always something to work on for which I could make progress as a reasonable speed – very few spots where I just sat and stared at it because I could not find anything that I could find a spot for. I also appreciate puzzles that are cut so there are few false positives (where a piece seems to fit but later has to be moved). This puzzle ranked well on that scale as well. Overall it is just a fun puzzle.

Visually striking!

This puzzle is just beautiful! The colors look really amazing and as a climber the subject matter was very enjoyable! My only disappointment is that the figure eight knot in the image would need to go thru the harness and then be rerouted thru the figure eight knot to be completed. As is that rope would only be good for hanging onto! Maybe the climber just decide it was so beautiful that they wanted too untie and solo the route. Either way the puzzle is amazing.

puzzle piece missing

After putting the puzzle together we found out it was missing a piece. Very frustrating, not like you can sit and count to make sure all 1,000 pieces are there before you start. I know Ravensburger puzzles are usually very good puzzles. I have ordered many of them and was always happy until this last one. Contacted the company but have not heard anything from them.

Great Jigsaw!

I am a prolific jigsaw puzzler and this is one of my favourites! You just get the feeling of the exhaustion of the climb and the exhilaration of the view. As usual, the excellent quality of a Ravensburger puzzle, which is why it is my favourite brand. My only gripe is that not every puzzle contains a separate picture, which I find so much easier to use rather then the picture on the box.

Amazon and Ravensbuger, what a choice

I’ve always loved puzzles since a child. Ravensburger puzzles are a must for me because of quality and stunning pictures. Must mention Amazon Prime, what an absolutely fabulous company. Lockdown changed ways of shopping. I have had more choice and the delivery is awesome
