With mods it fits their shorter mailbox

I have the version of this mailbox that has no mail slot. I purchased this because I was willing to cut it down and shape it to fit my mailbox. It’s not a trivial modification, but with the proper tools and skills, you can do it. I even installed it just behind the door frame, which leaves a narrow area to one side for letters to be picked up (not inside the locked area.

Make sure your Atched Qualarc is newer size!

So bummed! This would have been just perfect, however, our Qualarc box was purchased in 2012, and although I was told by another vendor that it should fit, it unfortunately does not. The later model boxes are just a bit wider and ours was about a half inch too narrow. The screws lined up for the mounting holes, but not enough clearance for it to go in properly and installed. We caught someone in the act of stealing our neighbor's mail, and were anxious to safeguard our's! It is very well made, and would have been an easy install! 5 stars if it fits your mailbox!
