Efficient

It's perfect, large, sturdy, but not all cabinet openings are equipped high enough for this length of hook. One of my cabinets worked with it; the other unfortunately came down too low and 'bumped into' the basket. I'm keeping the one that fits.

Cabinet does must be wider than 16”

This holder did not work with my cabinet doors to hold the parchment and foil wrap etc that I intended. My cabinet doors are 15.5” wide. As you can see in the pics, I tried this several different ways and the only way that worked was to put this on the outside of the cabinet which is not how I planned to use this. It doesn’t allow the door to close on the inside and smashes into the other door which will leave scratches so I tried pushing it closer to the hinge but then it interferes with the hinge and the door still won’t close completely. It’s advertised as a wastebasket or organizer but I really think it’s more of just a wastebasket. It holds shorter wrap boxes but not the taller size. See the photo where the wrap sticks out of the top. The hanger handles don’t drop low enough from the top of the door for items that come over the top of the basket. So the taller wrap boxes also stick out over the top of the door. The bottom of this is tapered so it doesn’t allow for as many boxes to stack inside the width because it’s narrower on the bottom. If you intend to use this as a wastebasket on the outside of your door, it probably works fine. But if you want it on the inside, your door will have to be at least 16” wide. I would not recommend this as a wrap holder unless you buy only the shorter boxes.

Perfect!

Perfect for the job I needed. I keep a stash of small papee/gift bags etc but they're always "put away" when I need them! I use this in the pantry and it leaves my bags at my fingertips!

Ok basket

This more stylish wire basket replaces my Ikea VARIERA trash can. There is NO installation needed - you just hang the basket on the cabinet door. The basket also come with 2 2" ball chains for those who prefer to hand it on hooks. THE GOOD - A typical plastic bag fits well in this basket so you will save money on garbage bags. - Unlike the Ikea trash can which requires sticky tape to hold it up (and it peels off after a short time), the hanging hooks keep the basket on the door. - The Bronze color will match your oil rubbed bronze decor. THE NOT SO GOOD - There is no drip tray at the bottom so leaks will drip into your cabinet. I lined the bottom with paper towels to catch the leaks but I hate the sight of the paper towels sticking out at the bottom. - Don't put jagged objects into the basket as they will poke through the plastic bag and catch on the wires. I take the plastic bag out of the basket before putting in long stem roses or watermelon rinds. - The wires are bendable & flimsy. They are ok for lightweight garbage but don't expect this basket to hold heavy items.
