Expectations

Right size, nice looking and comfortable

Very nice dressy long sleeve shirt. Well made and fits like a dream. True to size.

Not the same sizes as in stores, not same materials

I have a closet full of Van Heusen shirts. I know what size fits me. I can also take measurements to verify my sizing. I wear a 17.5 with 36/37 sleeves in regular fit... If you order Van Heusen on Amazon versus Macy's or JCPenney I don't think it's the same thing. None of the sizing matches. I can't even button the shirts close and I have the exact same shirts... The sleeves are wrong, the torso is wrong, and the materials are all way off from what you get elsewhere. Look for MADE IN INDONESIA if you want the nicer Van Heusen shirts. The ones made in INDIA or BANGLADESH do not fit. You want them with 5-6% elastane, not 1%. Avoid buying these shirts or you'll just be disappointed and have to return them. If you are skinny like a toothpick, you might be okay, but if you have an American-style body type heed my advice!

Quality shirt, comfortable fit

I went looking around locally for a new dress shirt, and I was surprised at how hard it was to find a place that actually even carried them, and the few places I found were very expensive. This shirt was not only a really great price, the shirt sells is very nice looking and very comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

Fits kinda big

I love the item for my guy. It is very high quality and is his favorite brand for work/church shirts. I ordered this one specifically to get his company logo embroidered on it. The embroidery did not ruin the shirt or cause a snag as it would in cheaper or lower quality shirts. Regarding the size, because it is not slim fit, it is quite wide. I had to get the XL because my guy has long arms but if he didn’t, a L would have worked fine.

Usually hate to order on line

Hard to order online since you can't see or touch it. It arrived nicely packaged and after initial washing wrinkles all disappeared. Fit is nice and feel is good. I'll probably go back and order another color. Was having a hard time simply finding a nice sky-blue dress shirt.
