Quite comfortable, size is on the large side

I used it as a thick base layer for skiing. It is actually more stretchable than I thought, soft and comfortable without feeling the stitch. For the price it’s quite good value. Siding wise, it’s bit larger. I’m in between small and med and eventually picked small-the stretch helps too. Just an fyi.

A good basic base layer

Thin enough to fit under every day pants like jeans and cords. Comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. A great base layer for those who prefer cozy over cold. Might need more than one pair to wear in rotation.

I'm used to the old school thermals that worked but felt rough. These feel great.

Loved it so much bought it again

Purchased for my son to wear under his clothes. He loves the thermal bottom keeps him very warm. This is my second time ordering this item. We even purchased the matching top.

The best REAL thermal bottoms. Period.

I can't praise these enough. Got me through winter in Northern Colorado with temps hovering around 10°F. They do well at blocking wind chill and retaining heat... and you can get a good few wears without smelling thanks to the anti-microbial material. As Terramar says—these are not for hi-aerobic activity... way too warm for anything other than walking! I would call the fit very 'classic'. I'm a 5' 9" 180lbs male. I bought the Large knowing they would be too big... other sizes were out and I needed them quick. Next time I'd buy Medium, but the Large is the size I would have expected a normal pair of thermal bottoms to be back in 1990... in other words, these are NOT your typical modern 'slim fit' or any silliness like that... they fit as they should. I have never found a better pair of thermals, and these have ended my search for the perfect pair. I will be buying at least two more, and then probably trying the tops! Can't recommend them enough. You will not be disappointed. Worth every penny.

I love these thermals.

I hesitate to do this review because it is hard enough to find thermals that have any quality to them. I did not want others to buy them and then they will be sold out all the time. I have bought five brands of men's sweets and these are my all-time favorites, I am a female that is 5'6 and I always get the medium. I buy men's thermals because I have found that men's clothes are made better period. I will continue to buy and yes I would highly recommend them.

Warm and not bulky

I bought these long johns for my husband for Christmas. He spends a great deal of time outdoors in the winter in Maine. Many days below zero. With other fleece long johns he has had to double them up, but these seem to not need the extra layer most days and are keeping him toasty warm so far. The fabric on the outside is nice and smooth so it isn't difficult to pull your top layers on over them. The inside fleece is remarkably thin for being so warm. It is nice that they do not add too much bulk. He did mention that they seem to run a little big. He is typically a medium, but they are a little baggy. Overall, two thumbs up from a husband who never likes to try anything new.
