Surprisingly comfy and well-fitting

When I first took these out of the package, they looked way too large for me, but after actually wearing them around a bit, I think these are my new favorite briefs. The material is surprisingly soft and they fit nice and snug. Good stuff.

I don't get it...

I've gotten these unmentionables on the regular for years now. I love the style (none of that bunching up and making it look like you're wearing diapers like those lesser, non-boxer designs) and the material is soft. The problem I have is the inconsistencies with the sizes. I'm a rather substantial man but I fit into these suckers by the grace of some deity. And these are super comfortable on me...usually. For some reason, every so often there's one in the batch that is just wrong. I feel like the worker stamping the sizes inside of these (no tag = the high-yield thermonuclear bomb) was just too busy texting their friend about how their significant other, after years of a relationship, suddenly just let loose this monster of a fart in bed and didn't even acknowledge it. I mean, seriously, I get it...you get comfortable with your loved one. You see their most vulnerable moments. You catch them picking their toes with your favorite screwdriver. They catch you destroying the drums with those fancy chopsticks they got with you that one time because they thought it would be sooo exotic. Then one day, BAM, they let lose what could only amount to the pent up gasses from the primordial age and can't even grunt a "sorry" or something. Anyway, they were--rightly so--distracted and just ended up stamping XL in those Ls and next thing you know I've got to call the fire department to extract me from these like I was drunk and decided to jump into a kiddie swing at the park. You can, unlike that swing, kinda sorta stretch them out a bit (that snapping sound is the relaxing of the threads, right?) but then they start to resemble boxers more than boxer briefs and you feel like someone's turned the A/C on in the middle of winter. Thus, the 4 out of 5 stars. One star for each unmentionable that's more mentionable than the one that was stamped wrong.

Butch and transmasc folk… this is for you!

It’s really hard to find boxers that fit right for butches and transmasc folk without leaving a saggy piece of fabric in the middle AND don’t cost a fortune- these worked great for me! They are a bit tight and the waistband digs into my stomach a bit but that’s only because I have a large waist-to-hip ratio. These fit just like I want them to, they’re soft but not slippery, they stay in place, and they look great. Highly recommend.

Not the mix of colors depicted and the waistband is also different. The worst aspect is that they shrunk a lot after the first wash. Might have to return.

Comfortable and tailored for a man.

Cut/tailored better than the normal Hanes in the boxer brief format. They have more of a built in pouch if you know what I mean. This makes for a more comfortable fit. These are my new go-to.

They don’t ride up

Very comfortable with even pressure throughout the fit and most importantly, they don’t ride up your thigh and get wedged in the “no zone”

Better than the alternatives

I have used Penney's traditional briefs for many many years--but a year ago when I bought my last batch they were very different--the elastic around the waist lost its elasticity after a couple of washes and the leg openings did not seem to have elastic and they were a bit baggy and did not keep the genitals contained--so I am slowly throwing them away and replacing them with boxer briefs, which seem to do a better job and are quite comfortable. I have tried several brands of boxer briefs with mixed results, and I keep coming back to Hanes because they seem to be made with better quality materials. I had several brands of boxer briefs, including Fruit of the Loom, fail to hold their form after a number of washings, while the Hanes seem to hold up better. My primary concern about Hanes is that they have so many different models that I have no way to determine which models are better quality. The Hanes website does not help. It makes it appear that all of their different models at different prices with different descriptions and color combinations are all wonderful. So, generally I like Hanes but wish they were a bit more clear about whether I am buying their best.

Generally comfortable; leg stretches a little....

Good quality

First bought these boxers when we were in USA nearly 4 years ago so very long lasting still not falling to bits. The legs fit to the leg they are not loose boxers. My husband really likes the quality and fit.
