These work but..

These work but I have had another pair since 1996 from my wrist therapist. They were starting to wear out so I got one of these to try as a replacement. It has begun to fall apart on the top thumb seam after only a few weeks (and I don't wear these daily - only when I have pain in my thumbs). I am not impressed with construction.

Not long lasting

It works and is easier to use than one wirh a hard splint in it but unfortunately it has already begun to fray at the thumb.

Champion wrist/thumb support-

This is a good product that offers light support for strained wrists/thumbs but maintains flexibility. My daughter uses it for basketball and needs something lightweight to offer support but allow movement. Fits somewhat large so if you are on the border of the sizes, go down a size rather than up.

Disappointed

I have used several braces of this type but they were wearing out. I had high hopes for these braces but they are not as good as my old ones. The material is not as firm as the old ones so they don't provide the support. Also the material is very slick so it is difficult to keep the non-velcro side wrapped. With my old braces, I could wrap my hand in under a minute and not need to rewrap it unless I removed it. With this brace, it takes 4 or 5 tries to get the brace to hold and if I am on my comupter I have to re-wrap it every hour or so. I wish this worked better since I really need the support for my thumb.

Not the one pictured!

If you were looking for the one piece neoprene wrap this is NOT it. The photo is of the old version which was great. I purchased this because we had mislaid the old one we have. The version which arrived is poorly machine sewed foam filled object. Not worth the time to photograph and upload. Amazon says it is the only version they have now. The inner label does say: 'PCP Champion'. Also, although it says 'Prime one day' it took 2 days to arrive and my thumb will be well by the time I find the right brace. Returning this.

THE SUPPORT DOES SUPPORT THE THUMB BUT NOT MUCH SUPPORT FOR WRIST DEPENDING WHY YOU BOUGHT IT .MAYBE FOR WARMTH PERHAPS VELCRO IS STRONG BUT NOT SURE HOW LONG IT WILL LAST BASICALLY WHY DON'T THEY MAKE BETTER I WOULD PAY MORE FOR SOMETHING THAT WILL LAST LIKE THE OLD BODY WORK UNIT I HAD AND LASTED THROUGH HEAVY CONSTRUCTION WORK FOR YEARS. OF COARSE EVERYONE IS CHEAP!!!!!!!!

Nothing special. Very soft material. doesn’t keep my thump stable. And skin sweats under it right the way
