They are good quality, better than the ones I found in ...

They are good quality, better than the ones I found in the building suppliers. But I was working on a project using old barn wood and they didn't work very well for that application.

Purchased these to put 2x2 pine boards together and they would not penetrate the wood without bending.

Great Quality-Great price!

As described. Not cheap quality. Used them to connect miter joints in 10 window screen frames I built-strong! Hard to find these in stores these days. It seems they are becoming a forgotten product.

Maybe OK For Softer Woods But Not Hard Wood Like Oak

Took several weeks to arrive after they were ordered. Same joint nails as those you find at your local Hardware or box store. Bought these to assemble barn wood frames. If your wood is soft pine these might work, but if the wood you are working with is hard seasoned oak don't waste your money on these. The hardly dented the surface and I ended up drilling and screwing the frames together instead.

Excellent for joining vertical mitered wood joints

These are not readily available locally. I use them all the time and was thankful to find a company that could give me the size I wanted and at such a reasonable price. This size is perfect for joining small pine vertical mitered pieces together if you are trying to make an octagon, hexagon, etc. for projects whether you are making a bird feeder or coffee table. You project is guaranteed to retain it's shape, even outdoors. There is no other way to fashion these bird feeders without these corrugated fasteners unless you use a lot of extra wood to hold it together. Even then, nothing will be this structurally sound. I will be purchasing again from this seller.

Metal to soft

I purchased these to re-enforce the corners of some picture frames I was building. The edge that should go into the wood isn't at all sharp, and the metal itself is too soft so I found it impossible to even get 1 all the way in without bending and making a big mess. Maybe on some REALLY soft wood, but in my case they were useless.
