Purchased for a beach house

First, we purchased these (3) specifically for the porch at our beach house. We had looked in many places for this style and these meet what we wanted at a reasonable price. We did not use the light fixture. If you have installed any fans in the last few years you know that attaching the blades is really simple, just slide the on rubber bushings and that’s it! That’s NOT the case with these. It’s the old fashioned way of using three screws per blade … with it hanging from the ceiling. The biggest complaint is that some of the connection points for screws that attach the support arm to the blade were not machined correctly and stripped out. If you are handy you can do a quick fix and make it work. They were a bit of a pain to assemble. Otherwise, they work fine and give us they look we wanted.

Has a loud humming sound

Pull cord broke

Easy install but pull cord broke and now I have to bring down all over again to open the casket where the pull cord is to replace it

We ordered and received this fan and were disappointed when we were sent a previously installed unit. There were screws missing, parts assembled and poor packaging. I returned it to Amazon and was sent a new, never installed fan that we installed and love. The fan looks and runs great and other than our initial sent fan, we are very pleased.

Love them

I ordered 4 of these for a screened patio. My 89 year old father installed them. (He could only do one a day based on energy level - it was 95 degrees on the patio). We love the way they look. Three are so quiet we can't hear them running - just feel the great breeze. One is a little noisy starting up but then quiets down when it is running fast (might have been install error). We did not get remotes with them as they are hardwired inside the house. They have made the patio much more enjoyable. I would buy them all over again.

False description - Not setup for a remote

I purchased this fan because it was listed compatible with a remote however there was no remote an the unit is not even setup for a remote. I had to pay extra money to install since we had to add a switch because there was no remote setup on the fan. Either the wrong model was sent or the description is incorrect.

Nice and quiet as well as very beautiful

The fan and light are beautiful it took a little work to get it installed and put together but overall very pleased and worth it.
