Very universal handle

I’ve searched at all the hardware stores in my town for a handle like this I needed atleast 4 I found these by just guessing and hoping they would work on my crank windows and I was in luck! Please note when placing handle on the base tighten the small screw in the handle to tighten for a secure turn.

Quality is 'OK' ...don't expect more than a basic handle that lets you crank the window open...

Installed both of these on my 400 series Andres casement windows today, Fit on the casement mechanism spline shaft was problematic (yes...set screw was backed out first), both had female spline area gummed up with paint and casting metal. Used an old knife to clean up the splines on one handle and got it to slide down the spline shaft with some force. The other took longer to clean up the splines and more force , but eventually slid down the shaft. The only other complaint was that the 'bead' you grab to crank window mechanism spins very roughly on the shaft of the casting. This I expect will eventually wear in so that it spins smoother. These were cheap....I made up for it in the labor needed to install these. Quality control is poor on these. I would not purchase again

Works well

I needed replacement handles for my 1993 Anderson casement windows. I ordered 2 cranks, one worked great however one was not formed correctly and would not go on the "stem." I contacted Amazon for a replacement because it was defective. They responded very quickly and sent another crank, which worked fine. Very happy with these products and they cost much less than ordering through Anderson. Note these are NOT Anderson products, but work perfectly.

Works very well

The crank handle works very well in my case. Color match with the original is good. When first installed, (in my case) the crank needs to be lightly hammered home into the splined receptacle. After that, either leave it alone or screw in the set screw. Far cheaper that purchasing the Andersen replacement crank. Highly recommended.
