Used to warm my garden in the winter. It has saved everything!

I have 60 tropical plants in Arizona that doesn't like Winter. I've covered them, but I also added this and all of my plants made it through the winter. I mean all of them. Recommend!

It's marginally useful

The install process is frustrating (I did it alone) the wire is coiled so really the best thing to do is unravel and straighten it and that is annoying with 200 ft of wire. The measurements are more of a ballpark estimate. I installed mine as per the instructions and after the first snow I do see the function but not a victory. Ice still accumulates and although not as bad as it was it still presents a problem that will have to be dealt with regardless. If I had to do it again I think I would make the zigzag pattern tighter and see if that helped..all in all just get a metal roof and save the money. This was a stop gap option for me and it is nothing more than that..a stop gap

Fails quickly

Bought 3 sections of this approximately 18 months ago. All three have now failed. I checked circuits, all good. Checked voltage to blue wire, is good. Checked voltage to where the blue wire attaches to the black heat wire, no power on black wire. All installed properly. All do not work now. Cannot get a response from seller. Do not buy unless you want to have to buy a replacement in short time. Follow up. I did get a response from the seller. If all troublshoot attempts fail, which they have, they informed me of a replacement. I am not interested in a replacement of the same horrible product. I want a refund so that I can purchase a better product somewhere else. The problem is, I cannot respond back to the seller with this info, Amazon is not giving me an option to do so. What now???

Arrived fast, easy to install and works.

I’ve only had it on the roof for a couple weeks so I can’t say how durable it will be. It’s doing its job tho just fine.

Extreme fire hazard, sparked everywhere and no refund

Complete garbage, it burned out my outside outlet. Sparks flew everywhere thankfully I was home so it didn’t burn my house down. Amazon is refusing to give me a refund as I had it for 2 months. Seller is being ridiculous and demanding a note from my electric company and home owners insurance saying that the cord caused the damage. Don’t buy!!

Great concept, poor results

Thought this would be the perfect solution for the valley in my roof. Installation was difficult but not ridiculous. More so getting the clips under the shingles without tearing them. After a few hours installing everything was great and the first snow it worked perfectly but that was it. The second snow, the cable failed to heat and ice formed. Now I have a cable on the roof (in the winter) so I can't remove to return and the company will not respond to emails.

Great product just wish it melted a larger area. Melts up to 2-3 inches around the cable. Overall a good product
