A little bigger than expected but very nice

I was a little surprised at how big this was. It's not huge and it's fit for purpose, but just more than I was expecting (which is entirely me because the specs listed are correct) That aside, the quality is very nice. I'm using it laid out flat in a tool chest drawer to protect my woodworking chisels, but it could be rolled up and would be just as good that way.

Good size tool roll for medium to large hand tools

I purchased this to use for storing my stanley chisel set. For this purpose it works well. I'm only able to insert a chisel in every other pocket, but the pocket dimensions are sufficient at least for the blades of all my chisels, and the overall roll height is sufficient to fully contain the length of my chisels. I like the hook-and-loop closure strap rather than a simple tie. While not necessarily a perfect home run, this fits the need for which I envisioned using it, so it gets 4 stars.

Pros: - The price is definitely right, especially with the $3 off coupon being offered right now. - High quality construction, thick thread. I imagine this will last a long while. -Much better than all-nylon roll for sharp tools, which will snag and are a bad idea. - Despite the description saying that it only fits up to 1-1/2" tools, I can store my 2" (50mm) chisel in the largest pockets no problem. Neutral: - Can only fit 9 chisels (Narex brand) if you want to roll it, otherwise there's not enough space. Can hold 11 if you don't care to roll it, or if your chisel handles are smaller. -Some people have said it's quite stiff, and it is, but I view this as an advantage as I imagine it won't give too much after use and make the tools easy to fall out. Cons: -Velcro strap is WAY too short to be useful, so you'll need to tie it somehow else.

OK, but careful putting in your tools

It's not very thick. The very first chisel I put in cut a hole through the back. Now I put the chisels in slowly and carefully. Rolls up just fine with my chisels, carving, and marking knives.
