Protects my sensitive ears!

I like the fleece band at the bottom because it helps it fit well and keeps wind from getting into my ears. It arrived just in time for a cold, windy day. I put it on to walk my dog and it kept my head and ears warm. My ears are extremely sensitive and need to be covered if there’s anything but a light breeze. I had a hard time finding hats where the reviews mentioned whether it covered your ears. I didn’t want the hat to be so long that it got in my eyes or was slouchy. This hat fits well and fully covers my ears while staying close to my head. Other than that, it’s basically a beanie. The pattern is cute and it looks and feels like I expected.

why is it so small now?

I purchased this exact hat a few years ago and lost it, so just ordered this new one. it is tsupposed to be the same one/style I purchased a few years ago. I agree with the customer who posted a photo showing the difference of the old style and this new tiny style of the same hat. they asked why is it now a child size hat??? I agree, why??? so bummed out. loved the first one and give that one 5 stars but this one is so tiny tiny tiny. Now I have to go through the trouble of returning it. hope they have a good return policy.

Love this specific style of hat by Pistil. It is sized correctly, fits great, and the style is classic and goes with everything. I just wish on the brightly colored ones, that they would do a better job on choosing the color of the linings, i.e., I don't like stark white linings on brightly colored yarn hats, it shows thru and looks tacky.

Received a different style hat

I ordered this as a gift for my mother in law for her birthday. My husband wrapped it so I was surprised to see it had a pouf ball on top when she opened it. She liked it and it is still really cute, just not what we expected based on the picture of the item we ordered.

Pistil hats rock

I love this one as much as the other Pistil hats I have. It fits like a cloche. I can pull it down over my ears. I'm getting another now in a different color.

Great for people who hate hats

This is the only hat I've found that is warm, cute, and doesn't make me hate hats! The lining was very comfortable, even after sweating and hiking.
