Great water shoes, but 23 is an AWKWARD size.

I initially purchased these in a size EU 23 (US 7) for my 23 month-old daughter to wear over the summer at the pool/beach. She's just at that stage where her feet are getting too long for size 6.5 shoes, so I thought these size 7's would be perfect. However, they turned out to be HUGE on her! She has long, slim feet, so Pedipeds usually fit her much better than many other brands of toddler shoes that are made for little-ones with chubbier feet. But not so with these Pediped Minnie Sandals. The size 7's (EU 23) were so much longer than her size EU 22 (US 6-6.5) Pediped shoes that her feet were swimming around in them (pardon the pun), and she kept tripping over them. I ended up getting the Minnie Sandals in a size 22 instead, and while they fit her for now, her toes are right up against the front of the shoe, so she won't get a lot of wear out of the smaller size, either. There will be a period of at least a couple of months where my daughter's feet are too long for the size 22's but too small for the size 23 sandals. This awkward sizing is such a shame, because these are otherwise awesome water sandals ... comfy, quick-drying, and good for developing young feet (accepted by the American Podiatric Association). The velcro strap makes them easy to get on and off, and the rubber bumper at the front of the shoes helps keep tender toes from getting stubbed. But for a shoe that costs upwards of $40, you'd think Pediped could come up with better fitting sizes. Grade: B+

Great Summer shoe for active kids

This is the third pair of Pediped Flex Minnie that my 9 year old daughter has had. We buy her a pair for the Summer each year. Although they do not provide much arch support, she tells me they are comfortable to wear all day, they are her Summer time shoe of choice. In addition to being comfortable, they are indestructible and even after the Summer is done, they still look like new. The great thing is you can get them wet and they dry very quickly. We have also washed her shoes in the washing machine at least twice and they come out nice and clean. These are the perfect Summer shoe for busy children!

My 1-year-old LOVES these shoes

My daughter asks to put these shoes on first thing in the morning (like with her PJs). They must be really comfortable! I like the support and cushioning. It's also easy to slip these on and secure quickly with the one velcro strap. The see-through mesh is nice for summer. This is my second pair of Pedipeds and while on the expensive side, they are so worth it for comfort, safety and durability. I will continue to buy this brand.

Cute design, runs quite large.

Very cute shoe, and just like my daughter requested. However they are very large. I ordered the size 9-9.5 for my child who wears a 9 in her other shoes. I'm undecided as to whether or not to exchange for the smaller size as I'm concerned they won't fit her come July. Update : Decided to exchange for the smaller size. They're still quite a bit big, but at least she's not swimming in them. The straps are still very long. I wish a local store carried these so we could try them on first.

Made for a Giant

We love Pedipeds and bought this shoe last year but it was way too large. I returned them and now bought them again this year as a summer shoe. They are breathable and flexible, great play shoe but the sizing is horribly off. My daughter's current pair of Flex shoes is a 26 and she needs the next size up. I ordered the 28 and they are enormous just as when I ordered them last year. The Velcro strap on them is so long that it drags on the ground, and my daughter doesn't even have slim feet. She has feet similar to Fred Flinstone so for these shoes to be that big means there is something off with the sizing. Annoying because if I return them Amazon charges for the return ????

Great summer shoe

These are extremely cute and well-designed. My daughter put them on and didn't want to take them off. She has long narrow feet. These are a good fit for her. They also dry quickly and are lightweight. My only complaint is that some of the stitching on the velcro has come loose after a few wearings.

My kid loves this shoe

This is the third pair we've bought: first the pink, then the pool blue, and finally these purple ones, as she keeps growing! She LOVES this shoe. It is so comfortable, can be worn with or without socks, and is washable. Comfortable for summer as a sandal, or in light fall/winter with socks. In fact, I accidentally bought a size too big this time around, and she insists on wearing them anyway.. I suppose that means we'll get a longer use out of them before she outgrows them this time! They are so very well made, I'm sure they will last as long as she can fit them.

I thought that the sandal was made with material breathable ...

I thought that the sandal was made with material breathable and antiperspirant, but the feet of my baby was very humid at the end of the day of use. Maybe the problem is the insole, the material of the upper part are quiet allright.

No se si el error está en el surtido o en la descripción pero dice que es para niños de 8-12, pedí talla 23.2 cm y me mandaron talla de bebé
