Helping my lashes looking great

I love this mascara, it help me by keeping them straight my lashes curl to much. This product I can get on easy and put more on without getting clumps, it very workable.

Would recommend

I recently stopped doing lash extensions and I wanted to help my natural lashes grow. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks and haven’t noticed much of a difference yet. It does making applying my mascara easier

Good enough, but not great

I think the coconut oil ingredient makes this rub off easily. Throughout the day I get small black spots along my under eye as it kind of wipes away from my lower lashes. Doesn’t provide volume like I had hoped, maybe I will try their other form of mascara instead.

My new fav mascara

It does not flake until late in the day if at all, there’s plenty in the tube, and it does not dry out quickly. My only complaint is the brush. My last mascaras had a rounded brush. This mascara has a concave brush. I’m not a fan.

Terrible brush

The mascara itself is fine but I absolutely despise the weirdly shaped brush. It is impossible to put on without getting it somewhere it should not be because the shape of the brush is just stupid. I like Pacifica's mascara but I will never buy this particular one again. I do like that it comes in a glass bottle rather than plastic- I wish their other mascaras were in glass as well.

Love the mascara, hate the brush

This mascara itself it great! I had been looking for a more earth-friendly mascara in a glass tube for some time. It’s not the most eco-conscious choice out there, but I don’t see myself fiddling with powders or waxes to do my mascara, which is what all the ones in truly recyclable/compostable containers seem to be. The mascara is great, a true black that is thick and doesn’t smudge or flake with hours of wear. The packaging is gorgeous. I love the color and weight of the tube, it feels so heavy and luxe. But the brush doesn’t work for me. The shape of it (skinny in the middle and fat on the ends) leaves my center lashes stuck together with big globs of mascara. I thought it was the mascara at first, but then I tried using the old spoolie from my last tube of Great Lash and suddenly the mascara was easy to apply and looked great. If the brush was a different shape I’d give this mascara 5 stars.

Eyes Burning

I really like Pacifica mascaras (Stellar Gaze, Aquarian Gaze & Dream Big) & have no reactions to them so I was excited to try out their primer. It went on/applied great, the formula was really nice so I got excited when I was applying it thinking I lucked out finding a cleaner mascara primer, but I kid you not, my eyes started burning within *minutes* of putting it on. It was horrible - 4.5 hrs later after washing it off & my eyes are still on fire, screaming fire, holy moly. Wanted to love this as I find their mascaras great, but this was awful for me. The glass packaging was really nice, I felt all "fancy" using it (ha!) & it applied lovely, but holy moly was it awful on my eyes. I never got the chance to try it with a mascara as I didn't want to use a mascara overtop & ruin a mascara by getting this primer mixed into it so I can't comment on how it actually functions when used with mascara. Given how lovely it applied though I was having high hopes it would work well with mascara. The magic question everyone always wonders re: mascara primer is how strong the white is. This one is white, but not nearly as strongly pigmented as say the L'Oreal Voluminous primer. It's about half the strength in pigment as the L'Oreal (unless you wanted to build it, then you could get it strong). It still is white though so it's not a "use on it's own"/no color primer, it's just a less aggressive white as some other brands. Consistency is great, nice & smooth - it is not near as thick & gloopy the way the L'Oreal primer is. Was a dream to apply & it dried beautifully (that's of course aside from burning the eyeballs out!). For those wanting to use this as a lash serum I'd say just get an actual lash serum, this is definitely a primer, not a serum. It goes on smoother than some other primers so in that respect it could be considered a "primer with a serum hint" (that may be bit of a stretch), but it's definitely not a stand alone serum & I don't think it's something anyone would want to sleep it, it's far too "makeupy" for that. I'd say if you have no makeup sensitivity you might want to give it a try, you might luck out with a nice application, but if you are sensitive to makeup you may want to stay clear. I'm a long time Pacifica fan of several of their products, but this primer is a hard pass for me. Also if you're wanting to check it out in Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart locations that stock it sell it for $19.99 a tube ($10 less than here).
