Got this for my husband as an accessory to his new outdoor grill. He says it is perfect for oil or sauces, cleans very easy.

This thing is super well-made, but it is ginormous! It's great for grilling, and we bought a smaller version for inside. Best baster ever.

Not like OXO to make this mistake!

I buy OXO products based on just their name and reputation. This specific purchase was based on their name, and its what I need for my charcoal bbq kettle. The fit and finish are what I expect and it should serve me well HOWEVER, I am dismayed that the product designer did NOT include a hole in the handle in which to hang my baster! Sounds like a minor issue, right? NO, when I’m not using it I would hang it on a hook with all of my other cooking tools. OXO, you could have done better!!!

What I needed

I had other silicon brushes that I was using but had two issues, one, they were two short and I would burn my hand while applying sauces, and 2, they never held enough sauce so I had to keep dipping. This solves both of my issues. I love the unique design of having an a solid inner part that helps pick up more sauce. Works great and cleans easily.

Why the hell didn't they pet a hole in the handle - so you could hang it with your other grill tools? also its fine in the dishwasher - shouldn't they have mentioned that?

Good quality

Easy to use and clean. The long handles comes in handy to reach into the grill. It also looks nice. I wish it came with a small pot to contain the glaze and hold this brush inside it like some other oxo products but the brushes with those products are shorter, unfortunately.
