They're straws, they work

Not much to review to a straw. They go into your drink, you provide suction and you get a drink. The straws work, they are long enough for our huge cups.

Need a soft tip.

These could be perfect except they would be easier on the mouth with a soft tip cover. Maybe rubber or plastic? If you go to take a sip and aren't paying attention you can really hurt yourself.

NOT 10 inches long as advertised

I was searching specifically for stainless steel straws that measured 10 inches long. These were advertised as 10 inches, but are only 8.5 inches long.
