Seem to be almost OEM

Compared my last OEM filter to this one; they looked identical inside and out. They fit the mower like a charm and seem to be doing the job. Time will tell.

It's really Oregon but....

Got the Oregon stamp & P/N etc. on the filter---item is proudly stamped Made in China--in my case this filter is for a Kawasaki FR600V in a Husqvarna... the filter by design/location needs to be shorter than normal BUT this Oregon filter is very-very-very SHORT--what's that mean ?---it makes me question how much filtering element is actually in this filter and yet it's got good weight--doesn't feel empty like certain brand automotive filters did years ago--I could send them back but i guess I'll keep them because of the Oregon name I've come to really trust over the years.....I did some online checking and approx. a year ago Oregon Saw Chain Co. founded in 1947 ( I think) rebranded itself as Oregon Tool.....what's that really mean---I don't have a clue...but could that be the beginning of partnering with China ?....Hmmmm....

Good quality replacement

Felt as heavy and well made as the Kawasaki one which I removed. It’s impossible to tell how well different brands filter but after several months of heavy duty use the oil is still clean and there is no bearing rattle on startup so it probably has a non return valve unlike cheap brands.

It's fine, seems like decent quality, but isn't what is pictured. Same size, probably the same spec, but different brand/markings.

This is an oil filter!

Hopefully it's filtering the oil. It's not leaking yet and my 'Big Bird' rider still runa around like a big chicken with it's head cut off.
