Gear started the engine once then broke in half

After replacing this gear I was able to start the engine once. The second time I attempted to start it the gear snapped in half as soon as it engaged the motor gear. I have requested a replacement and will update this review if the replacement manages to not break.

cheap replacement part

this will save you a lot of money if you don't want to buy a complete new starter how ever its not so easy to replace as it shows easy on YouTube i had the problem that the big magneto was in the way so i had to loosen the bolts a bit to get my starter very little moved away from the magneto in order to put this part in its place
